If you are able to, you could branch out and design people's pet snakes and sell them. Have them send you a picture or two of the snake and description and you make those of them. I have seven snakes, two on the way when it gets warm enough to ship, so nine, I would totally get one of each. You could do crested geckos as well, I have four. With corn snakes, well many species, they change from babies to adults. Corns in particular go through a lot of different "looks", sometimes I wish a phase would last longer or I had a way to really capture it (pictures and videos don't do justice, especially with pinks and purples). Take a baby snow corn snake, they are a pretty pink and white, it's adorable and many people that are afraid of snakes don't mind baby snows, I think it's because they look sweet. Anyway, just food for thought. I know that in snake groups I see posts by people that create magnets, labels, pins etc. Nothing like yours, they just share the links and pictures and people order.

As a broke teenager who cannot deal with the gargantuan shipping prices in Canada, THANK YOU to everyone who sends mail! I've always wanted to but haven't had a chance, and watching these unboxings is a way of sullying my want. Also, it's so cool to see where everyone is sending their packages from! To think there are people who enjoy Snake Discovery just as much as me on the other side of the planet is very heartwarming :)

A wild Ed appears! I hate that he always thinks everyone is “just” Emily’s fan. We love Ed too! I was so sad he wasn’t there when we visited in 2021. I wish sometimes he would sign the patreon photos as well! He’s got the best sense of humor and sass lol. Reminds me of my own husband. We’re here for Ed AND Emily! (And Cheyenne!) and honestly the staff too! They were so sweet and wonderful when we visited.

Since you can’t record every fanmail you open, maybe you could make updated community posts with lists of names and locations of the packages you open. You might want to include ages or first initial of their last name. For example: Linda, Indiana Alex, Germany Grace and Samantha, Idaho This way people know you got their package and don’t have to worry. You could include this in the description of the fanmail videos too. If there you can’t find a name you could do a list of items and location.

I really enjoy the fan mail opening videos. I'm from Germany and seeing how generous everyone else is really warms my heart. Hawaiian coffee is the best in the world. The volcanic soil removes a lot of the acid from the coffee. It's a smooth drinkable coffee with a lot of tropical notes. Emily, you will love it when you can smell again. Speedy recovery.

I am dutch and paused the video to see if I could translate it, but It seems the only languages on the bottle are German and French, I could possibly translate the german but I'd need a better look at it, I do know that Noir means dark in french and with the different colors of the jars I do think its indeed White, milk and Dark chocolate milk, hope that helps!

Honestly, fan mail at this point just becomes a disaster. They literally have 3 or maybe even 4 years old stuff unopened. Someone put love and care into that package and the stuff sits and gets expired. I get they are busy but they need to find a better way to deal with this stuff. Plus it produces so much waste from packaging and stuff.

Emily! How was the surgery pain after? I’ll be getting nose surgery soon so I can breathe but I’m worried about being in too much pain lol

Not Emily but I've had 2 nose surgeries. The pain isn't too bad as long as you take the prescription pain meds and sleep with your head elevated. Also you should get some Flintts Mints and a good lip balm because you mouth will become really dry from breathing out of it so much.

@@RockyRoad7 lip balm is a great tip thank you! I’m hoping they give more then 2 pills of pain meds like they did for my knee surgery lol thankfully my bed is a futon and the “arm” parts rise up so I can sleep with my head up

@@lizzw4216 don't let them bully you. You should be given sufficient meds post op. Don't be afraid to bring this up before surgery. Drs work for you no matter who's actually paying him/her. Drs are often stingy with young females. There's studies showing that redheads require more pain meds but I have had to educate more than one Dr about this! Have a friend or family member advocate for you if you need it. Good luck! I've had sinus/nose surgeries 3 times & I use a nasal rinse twice a day.
