I'm 18 and I'm getting my first tattoo in a month! It's a similar style to yours, black and grey peonies. I have self-harm scars that the tattoo will be covering up, which means that I don't get much choice in where the tattoo is, so my first piece is going to be fairly large on my inner bicep and inner elbow. It was so nice to watch your vlog, your piece is much larger than mine will be but a similar style and similar area, and I'm glad to know what I'm getting myself into! Lmao

Question! How is it having visible tattoos at work. I really want visible tattoos but I have been keeping off Bc of a possibility in a field like nursing? How’s that working out on your experience ?

For my experience i mostly had to keep tattoos covered at school and during my internship. But besides that it depends on where you work. At my clinical site, people have tattoos out, so it just depends on the policy! I think most people have tattoos now so its pretty easy to find work. (I would say however, to keep tattoos covered in an interview. Get hired first then let your freak flag fly!)

I am in nursing school and for my program they say to cover them so long sleeves but keep in mind hospitals are cold anyway. If they are visible as log as the professors do not care you may not have to cover them up when doing labs at school. My friend who has a bunch of visible tattoos some being on her hand she has never had issues with school nor working at her hospital jobs.
