My introduction to Mr. Rogers was on the National Lampoon comedy tape called That’s Not Funny, That’s Sick. He interviewed a stoner bass player, and was a pedophile who made lederhosen for little Timmy. And there was a bit where an interviewer asked him how much money he made. The interviewer ended up in a fistfight with Fred. It was hilarious. Twenty years later I learned he was a real person who had a nice show, and he lovingly practicality raised a generation of children.
