I realized now that the plane doesn't climb also. It's stuck at 2600 feet. I think my FL altitude was wrongly set in the FMC. Can I correct this inflight?

Hi there! First of all you accelerate by pushing the thrust forward. Then there comes a point the plane is 'ready' for takeoff. On this point you pull back the yoke so that the plane takes off. When in the air, the gear comes up and you can set the AP1!
