As the mother of an adult son with Autism, I understand her battle. Everyday I am grateful that after I left his dad, he decided to stay away. My son graduated from high school, can communicate with me verbally after being non-verbal for the first five years of his life and has friends. I don't regret the choice I made to leave his father because all he was doing was hindering and causing unnecessary chaos with his choices to cheat on me and avoid being there for my son.
