Emily changing her last name to OPs last name makes NO sense whatsoever! Bridgette and OP are sisters. So they had the same last name until Bridgette married her husband Tom. OPs never been married so she still has her maiden name that she still shares with her homophobic parents. So if Emily couldn’t handle sharing her last name with a homophobic mother why is Emily ok sharing her last name with her homophobic grandparents? Emily’s father Tom isn’t homophobic. So why not keep her last name she shares with her non-homophobic father? Or am I missing something?
