I found this vedio very mesmerising and enjoyed every moment of it ,,My parents were from Rawalpindi and my father studied in Khalsa high school Rawalpindi,, Listening Bindra Sahib was a treat and reminded me of my parents and grandparents who spoke in the same language,,I feel today very enriched and proud of my roots ,,,Thank you Keshu bhai for your great initiative,,,,Keep it up 👍👍

The incident referred to is the most sentimental in the history of Partition . Prabodh Chandra had been to Kahuta in April 1947 and took pictures of the areas effected by these massacres .The then Governor General , newly appointed , Mountbatten went to Thoa Khalsa with his wife and Jawaharlal Nehru . This infamous well was closed with wooden planks . Thank fully Prabodh Chandra took pains to publish a photo book of these areas in a small book " Rape of Rawalpindi " ..it is most gory full of pictures that to this day even arouse passion ...very very sad that humans could descend to such levels . Thanks Keshav g for putting this video for leaving for posterity true history

Is he from Delhi? Keshubhai Ji just to further add - he mentioned of Lt General Jagjeet Singh AURORA who was son in law of one Mr Duggar. YOU WILL BE surprised to know that Lt Gen JS Aurora got the BIGGEST EVER SURRENDER OF ANY ARMY in the world - 93000 thousand POWs from Pakistan. But Keshubhai Ji many people don,t know that 93000 Prisoners of War from Pakistan Army was led by Lt Gen AAK Niazi who was from perhaps Mianwali, but Lt General Aurora & Lt Gen Niazi were trained to gather & were BATCHMATES in IMA, Dehradoon.

Partition violence of 1947 actually started from the Thoa Khalsa in Rawalpindi division during March of that year. After the partition plan of June 1947, violence escalated in West Punjab against Hindus and Sikhs. After 14-15 August, Partition/ Independence, all hell broke loose and there were extremely violent reprisal against Muslims of East Punjab (including later day Haryana). By some estimates double the Muslims died between August to December 1947.

I was thinking how Ghulam Rasool and other Muslims of his native place face BINDRA G and his parents during their visit of Thoha Khalsa. These fanatic peoples still exist in our societies. Babur came and looted and the Sikhs stayed, Nadir came and looted and the brave Sikhs stayed but the vicious portion came and they had to leave their homes and land of their ancestors which had so many memories for them. It is the saddest migration of people in the history of the world. We lost so many innocent people and they had to start from scratch and see their spirit how they have built up their lives and contributed in the growth of their new nation.

Gachati Gachte Gachanti, Gachasi Gachathe Gachath, Gachaami Gachave Gachaame. THESE ARE THREE FORMS OF the word GACH means To Go in Sanskrit. Keshav Ji rightly said by Mohninder Singh uncle Ji that GACHASE in Sanskrit mean JAANA means “To Go”. So he is right when he said that KAHUTA language resembles SANSKRIT.

There are two words used in this Pothar and Kashmir area (Poonch region, esp. Rawlakot). One is Gasna or Gashna spoken in Potohar e.g. Kahuta tehsil of Rawalpindi and Gachna in Poonch , Murree and some parts of Hazara. However, majority of people in Rawalpindi and Kashmir(Pahri speaking area) use julna a variant of chalna from Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi etc.
