I love the look of your midnight roma tomatoes. This year, I got a bunch of bumblebee tomatoes seedlings as "surprise" plants. Surprise because the farmer didn't label them or something. LOL 😂 Got to try something new. What do you do with the extra food from your garden? I've sundried my tomatoes in my solar oven in the past. I haven't gotten that much of a harvest to do that this year. It's more that my neighbors eat from there too, which I'm very happy about. My tomatoes seeded themselves and I got a bunch of seedlings from them. Anyways, I love your tours and will be saving your how-to garden planning videos.

Loved the tour! My wife and I just bought down in Rosemont and are working on building something (hopefully half as great!) as your space. We have 4 beds laid down in the backyard right now (2 in-ground, 1 raised, 1 hugelkultur), and have space for 1 or 2 more. Our biggest issue right now is rebuilding our soil. It's was all sod/weeds and exposed dirt - and it's heavy clay and compacted. We settled on a single tillage - via rototiller for 2 beds and broadforking 6-12 inches elsewhere - and then laying down compost. I'm also working on cover cropping some of the beds and a section in the front yard to improve soil quality and reduce compaction. All that to say: thanks for putting out great videos! Sacramento is definitely a unique climate (July was hot and my tomatoes and peppers definitely stopped producing/suffered sun scald), so I appreciate someone near us that can share their gardening wisdom!
