Crazy underrated channel. This channel has thus far answered most of the questions and concerns I have for starting a food garden. It would be a really cool idea to do a video series about costs and how to lower the expenditures while maximizing production. Perhaps a series on gear reviews - especially some of the smart-home stuff which are useful for the tech savvy millenial-gen zs. Regardless, I see this being a fantastic trend now that so many of us are just bored of the standard lawns that just eat up water whilst returning nothing. A fantastic hobby to save money and minimize one's carbon footprint.

I suggest you research your area 1st. I took a suburban yard of Chicago near chain of lakes infested of 4-6ft tall stinging nettles and garlic mustard greens. My yard is a lower elevation (mid bottom of hill) . I get all the run offs from neighbors. After research and being a wild crafter herbs and food. These invasive weeds are actually medicinal wild flowers that will destroy the soil for years to come. 1/4 acre pulled out from root tap 7 yrs in order to rejuvenate soil. Processed them for upper respiratory teas. Sold them made extra $$ to make veggie and more other varieties herbal garden. My best choice after countless experiments is to grow in above ground boxes and planters. Be creative. All done using recycling materials and throw away. Poor woman budget. Eventually all my trellises were left over farming fences given or trading. This hard work can be done. If you truly want to do this on a low income. YES IT CAN BE DONE. As of last few years my garden not be worked. Due to global warming. Earth shifted and redesigned my 1/4 acre. Back to the drawing board for a make over. Tight budget now. I have done this before I will do it again. So can you without spending a ton of money. Happy Gardening! And yes, this video is easy to understand, great ideas, most of all big harvest ❤️😋. Will keep watching

That’s a beautiful garden. Kale you open those beans with grains, you worm up a little olive oil, cut onions little, peppers, garlic, tomato sauce, throw your grains beans there add like a cup and half of broth and let it boil around ten or fifteen minutes. Salt to your taste. Don’t forget your white rice. You can make yellow rice with them, or salads. They are incredible healthy for you!!! Enjoy.

Thank you! Yeah the heat can be challenging but you learn to manage it over time. I'm always searching for varieties that do well in the heat. A lot of people will just water a ton in summer but that can actually be worse, so I still only water twice a week.

Just came across your video's, have watched from the lawn to now one after the other, I'm in the bottom of NZ where is always wet and windy, summer is usually short with rain lol and the odd 20dg hottest days. Veggie gardens are a delight but a lot of us struggle. I love watching overseas veggie gardens, it's addictive to see how much fun you have. I was planning on turning a lawn into a garden then came across your video's, so far you have been the best I have seen for any one wanting to take that step. thankyou so much for a good Friday night. Thomas Valentine my mom also has a large beautiful garden with few edible plants! I think it’s fantastic to have a garden of any kind and the most important thing is that it brings the gardener joy. There are many edible plants that are also attractive ornamentals, so perhaps you could start by incorporating some of those.

T.A. Callender thank you! I’m glad you found me too! Yeah, it’s one of the challenges with the algorithms, that unless you have a very large audience, mist people will not see your content.

I was surprised to see you didn't have more subscribers, great content.

HerHealthyHome thank you! It’s still a new channel so the algorithm hasn’t let many people find me yet, but in time it will. Thank you for your support!

At 14:28 you mention my top three cherry tomatoes to grow, I made a video about this called "Top 3 Cherry Tomatoes You NEED to Grow!" Your tomatoes and peppers are looking quite good, well done! Keep up the good work with your channel Kyle!

I never knew there were more than bell peppers in the sweet pepper family. Excited to learn more and hopefully plant some in my garden!
