I thought they were both 3/4 at first too but almost all arrangements I see put it as 6/8 and it doesn't really fit well in 3/4. Both songs are extremely similar (and beautiful) though, especially in structure, instrumentation, and lyrics.

Honestly, I would suggest getting used to playing other easier songs. It's taken me two months to learn the first 2 pages and i have cut the song down to the short version just so it won't take me too much longer

If you really want to play it, go for it. The scales on page 3 and later are hard to play consistantly though so be prepared for that.

unless you have extremely large hands, this piece will be extremely difficult if not impossible to play because it has a alot of 13+ key chords to play with one hand (page 3 measure 1). id probably go to a different arrangement to play this. plus this piece has a lot of runs that'll take some practice.
