Isn't Keishou no Uta and Inori no Uta the wrong way around? Keishou is the 3rd opening since it's used in the Great Forest, whereas Inori is the 4th since it's used in Millis.

Mushoku tensei is not only one of the best animes out there, but also one of the best fictional peices of media i have the pleasure of laying my eyes upon. everything about it, it's intricate world building, the themes it portrays, the way it maturely handles trauma and how characters overcome it, the super fleshed out characters, and the character development in general (especially with rudeus) , all of which are (to say the least) incredible and done to an incredible standard. and this is without animation or the music, both of which compliment the series perfectly, the music has a sense of calm, with a few hints of somber like tones, which makes us all think of an fantasy adventure, making it fit the series so good, the maincharacter after a life of sitting away doing nothing with his life is in a new world of which he could only dream of. the animation aswell, every little detail has attention paid to it, nothing is accidental, every bit of the world we see is purposeful, with it either creating an intricate atmosphere along with the music, or to set the scene of a peaceful village, or a desolate wasteland. i love how every opening is not just the same almagamation of scenes ripped from the season and is instead catered to each episode, fitting it perfectly, rather than a recap it shows us whats going on/ setting the scene on what is about to happen, paired with the incredible opening music, it is, to say the least, sublime. everything about this series is amazing and i cant wait to see what happens next.

Mushoku Tensei and Steins Gate are the pinnacle of Chekhov's Gun. Everything that is introduced and everything that is said just builds so much into the world and will almost undoubtedly be brought up, relate to, or cause something else. (Spoiler from later novels) The perfect example is when we have the first interaction with Orstred and he says that he only knows of Aisha and Norn as children of Paul Greyrat. We later learn in the series that Rudeus was supposed to be a stillborn in every timeline, but when he's given a soul through reincarnation he lives. Hence why Orstred made the comment about how Rudeus wasn't supposed to be there

Finished season 1 today... Could talk about the feelings this anime made me feel, about that animation, about these old school backgrounds and minimal usage of cgi, but I'm actually here to talk about these openings you don't want to skip because you want to listen to the music and look at the beautiful scenery each episode. These songs are so calm but also powerful, they're some like lullabies... I know something like next year, I'll remember these songs and wanting to rewatch the whole thing again.

It's an understatement to simply say these songs are an integral part of the already masterpiece adventure that is Mushoku Tensei. Each song reflects an important part of the story, in fact it feels like it's own masterpiece of a story entirely, this is true for every song that this show uses. I would love to name my favourite but I simply can't, as all the songs are amazing in their own right. From Tabibito no uta to Tooku no komori no uta, the songs express different emotions and the setting of the world artistically and in such a beautiful manner. All of this ties in to form the most captivating life journey in a world that is foreign and yet beautiful, infused with intricate magic and swordsmanship accompanied by the warmth of family and friends.

It’s not just a show, it’s a full fledged adventure, one that carries on with us and our mc, this can’t be peak fiction because it’s not just a story, it’s an adventure of a second chance at life, in a world of sorcery and magic, yes.. the world of Mushoku Tensei, in other words the very definition of a fantasy world, a fantastic adventure, and a second change to live to the fullest. Mushoku is such a bittersweet anime. It's sad that there will be an end, and is an end, but it's nice to see such vibrant and full of life characters in animation. Seeing Eris and Ruijerd sparring warms my heart because she genuinely feels like a real person, and Ruijerd as well feels as though he is broken but finally has a child to bond with again even if only for a few years. Obviously I know they aren't real, but the story is so enthralling and down to earth that I feel as though these people are real in all but a literal sense. The music suits this show so well, it's not over the top or anything but it does portray the hopeful and the looming end of things as they can be gone in a flash.

In case someone is like me and didn't notice opening changes while watching the show, Tabibito no Uta is used in his hometown of Buena Village, Mezame no Uta is in Roa and the Demon Continent Keishou no Uta is in Millis, Inori no Uta is in the Great Forest, Tooku Komori no Uta is in Shirone, Tabibito no Uta -Kikyou is when they return to Buena, Only is the ending for the first half, Kazeto Iku Michi is the ending for the second half. I may be wrong, please feel free to correct me.

The director of Mushoku Tensei said that he wanted to create music that would emphasize the worldview. That's why there are no character songs. There is a song for Silphy, but that song also follows the worldview. By the way, there is an exception to this, the song sung by Nanahoshi, which is a cover of a song she heard before she was reincarnated (a J-Rock song that was popular in Japan about 20 years ago). By using a real song, the world of Mushoku Tensei became much closer to reality. I think this is a great production.

hi, as a novel reader - don't want to spoil anything but gotta say this - saw the trailer for season two and based on my recolection of events in the novel compared to what the trailer revealed im 100% sure there will be definetly more than 12episodes hell maybe even more than 24 in that season, ofc it depends whether they skip something or not but based on the trailer alone it seems they will include a LOT + the fact that story telling will be even better now (it was just that good past what the anime showed so far) so we really have something to look forward to :)

@@LoliPolice-bf7mw 2023 was already confirmed and while i have not seen any exact date but i would not be surprised if it was sooner than winter tbh... also it was confirmed that season 3 is already in works aswell and if they intend to go for the whole story(not even including sidestories and ova's like the eris goblin slayer adventure) then 4th will be likely aswell. Anyway the only two things i hope for now is 1. that the quality remains superb as with season 1 and 2. that they won't do the same blunder as shingeki no kyojin "final" season (releasing half then over year of waiting for second half and then another year of waiting for the final "episode" which is still not out even out yet? lol) personally i would not even mind waiting a little longer as long as the whle season gets released without much waiting between cours.

Mushoku Tensei S1 is as good as an entire season long Studio Ghibli film. Hopefully S3 picks back up to the same quality as S1.

yeah s1 is on another level of media. Feels like watching a fantasy movie every episode. Its world building and the level of immersiveness are off the charts.

S2 is really good too, sure it's a lot more chill but the story need that to actually be Mushoku Tensei

@@sanstorye The story is great but there's no question animation took a hit. The tough part is trying to gauge exactly how much the bar fell, obviously S2 is still well above average, but every time a canned intro plays I feel disappointed. Even if it was only for half the episodes whoever decided it was ok to stop doing a unique intro for every episode really dropped the ball.

Does it ? I personally, despite being a rather nostalgic and mostly contemplative person, find the sense of joy in it is greater. The joy of a promising day on a sunny road, as you look both in future and past with hope in the eye. Or simply, the comfort in the presence of a close family member.

I don't know how you all feel but this anime but it amazing how they put it togather how a man had nothing to be reincarnited to have a second shot of life to make thing better is really inspiring to me to want to be better
