two good items on tanktrox are titanic and sterak's sterak's just gives a ton of damage because aatrox has a lot of base ad and titanic gives you more damage based on your max HP even without your ult you will be still dealing a bunch of damage, and with ult even more and even more healing also sterak's gives tenacity which is a must buy on aatrox

From experience buying those two items, haste is usually a big issue early on since none of those items provide haste. No haste means ranged can kite you easier. Otherwise that's a beast combo...

@@TrueSangerZonvolt I mean, noone in their right mind will buy sterak's first three items. It is usually Iceborne > cleaver/titanic/shojin/situational tank item . serylda's. With iceborne alone it is really hard to get kited, since the slow is insane, paired up with serylda's and noone gets away. You can get sterak's and titanic (if you hadn't bought it earlier) fourth or fifth, since you will have pretty much enough health, hase, resistances and utility from your items plus the tenacity will give you moving privillege

@@TSDman The problem usually is that a lot of games can end before you can finish 3-4 items. Laning phase tends to end after 2 items too assuming you are even or behind. Iceborn has the slow, yes, but early on you won't have the damage to snowball. If you face a fed AP opponent, they can snowball before you buy the MR too. Steraks third may not be a bad idea if you ask me.

tenacity is useless against knock up so it could be that in that particular game he was against mostly a knock up cc so tenacity would be useless in that situation.
