Anthony, thank you for taking the time to answer these important questions and for sharing your personal story. Your advice is so inspiring and well researched from your own experiences. I'm so captivated and inspired by your channel (as well as Think Media that made me smile when you shared that)! I was an instructor with the Army National Guard at Fort Carson, Colorado for 15 years. Our School featured "distance learning classrooms" which were fully equiped with state-of-the-art audio/video capabilities allowing us to teach at multiple facilities at the same time. We had 16 seats in our classroom and we could link to other distance learning clasrooms around the globe. Each site had assistant instructors. I retired from the Colorado Army National Guard in 2013. I've also worked full-time for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years but I'm nearing my retirement from there within the next five years. (I'm eligible now... I'm 59) but, to get my "full" retirement I have to wait until I'm 64. Your videos along with my other favorite KZbin Creators (Peter McKinnon, Potato Jet, Tom Buck, Gerald Undone, DSLR Video Shooter, David Manning, Chris Hau, Becki and Chris, Camera Conspiracies, Aaron Parecki, Casey Faris,, Learn Online Video with Steve Wright, and Daniel Batal). What I love about yours is your ability to portray a well planned analysis, with an in-depth look at the break-down behind your ideas and perspectives. You share your struggles and opinions based on solid experiences of trial and error. You are also very charismatic, well spoken and I love your charactoristic one raised eyebrow in your facial expressions! I'm really looking for something to keep me engaged and productive in my retirement years and you are inspiring me to explore getting back into teaching through KZbin. I've dabbled with photography with my travels however, I'm now wanting to step-up my knowledge on a pro Camera. My struggle is I'm open on (Canon, Sony and Panasonic) but can't decide on which one to jump into. I prefer the larger DSLR camera body as the Mirrorless cameras feel small and awkward too me. I'm also in the process of building my studio to start creating. I'm stating with the accessories (Microphones, stands, tripod, monopod, gadgets). I'm also making the jump from PC to Apple. I'm leaning towards DaVinci Resolve for editing and Tom Buck has inspired me toward the Rødecaster Pro II paired with the ATEM Mini and/or Yolobox... Now Røde is releasing a new Rodecaster duo, Streamer X and a USB podmic. It is so freaking overwhelming with all the available technology emerging in this fascinating hobby/business! Keep on doing what your doing because you are inspiring many more like me.

Since you mentioned considering getting an LLC, I would recommend getting an LLC as it comes with some great benefits, I'm pretty young only being 21 years old, but got an LLC for my video business last year and I don't regret it at all! Plus I sound more professional with having LLC at the end of my branding lol. Loved the video!

Really helpful for me someone who wants to join the content creator space having been trained in photography and videography. These videos have got me thinking about how I could work it in alongside a full time job, at least while starting out…

It's really interesting because I am at the point where I have done a couple free videos to get a free product. For some reason, I felt icky about it and those videos never did that well anyway. I think what you said about that was really helpful. Also P.S. you've blown up on my feed the past year, so I think you're definitely a big creator in my eyes! haha

I LOVE ! This video it was very helpful ! What I would like to know a little bit more about is how does affiliate marketing work or the ( content creator version of that ) because apparently there’s 2 different ways you can go about it

I have a question here Anthony. As I started posting pictures I was worried about someone could just copy my art. So I watermarked it. What do you think about turning pictures to NFT's, instead of watermark them. Would appreciate your answer, take care too☺️🤗

Can you make a video about the cheapest ND filter canon in Amazon because I buy one and I don’t know how to use it.❤

I'm making $1500 a month for presets sale at 3k sub's, I do push them on the channel as a portrait photographer, would be interesting to see how much you could make if you also pushed them and show your work more? I have a a Ozzy mate, on KZbin who has 450k subs and makes $50k a month from presets, money on the table mate. Also, I wonder what you think about your short form videos doing so well in regards to you new long form videos? Do you feel your short form audience is connected to your long form videos? Its just interesting as I see many other photographers long form video do well, as usual and then their shorts tank, while the same video on Instagram does so well, and that's more KZbin short content aka talking head rather than some silly trend.

For the affiliate links, you only get revenue from purchases right? Or is it purchases and clicks
@AnthonyGugliotta
@AnthonyGugliotta Жыл бұрын
It's only when a purchase is made. ie) If I recommend a camera, and someone ends up buying one through a link I've shared! Might need to break this down in a full video!
