Being RV Traveling Full Timers & getting diagnosed you have cancer, can really disrupt your plans to say the least.
Joanie & I have been full timing nearly 5yrs. and it's been a blast. But now we have a different trip in our plans. Testing, doctors treatment and looking at a possible exit strategy from RVing if worse case scenario actually happens.
It's nearly Christmas and this is an announcement we didn't plan on.

I did not expect that news. Soooooo sorry! I too appear to be very healthy. All my tests are normal and I am 75 years old. My wife just found out she has breast cancer , triple negative, which is the worst you can get and is going through her chemo right now. We are Christians too. Martin, I’ve never commented on a KZbin video. I have stage 4 colon cancer that spread to my liver. I’ve had two, twelve round sessions of chemo and two surgeries (colon and liver resection). I’m doing OK for now. I am praying for you and Joanie…tough road ahead but you can do this my brother.

@@RVstreet Oh, I just mean that information overload can lead you to believe, mistakenly, that whatever ‘x’ means, equals ‘y’ when if you simply stand up to asking doctors to better explain the functioning components of treatment maybe things would make more sense. Sometimes doctors talk about the big things and fail to mention the little. When you are personally traveling on that unsteady unknown path, it helps tremendously to have your team traveling at the same pace. I hope that makes better sense.

Guys I am a brother of yours (Vietnam 68-69) Iwas diagnosed with liver cancer in 2005. By the grace of god I am still here. It brought me closer to my Lord and savior. I for what ever reason, never got my energy back. Having other illnesses from AO there could be other reasons for my very low energy. I lost the love of my life in June. Living in OK now and haven’t been back to my home state of Massachusetts, w bought an older ut ver nice Southwind pusher, we were planning this bucket list trip when my wife (Debbie) went downhill so fast. Now I plan to try to make our trip any way. I worry that something will happen that I can’t fix. But going any way, I know my Lord will be checking on me often. Just as he will be checking on both of you. Go for the gusto, live to your fullest. There is a quiet campground I enjoyed many years ago sitting on the harbor of Jonesport ME that has awayys offered peace, quiet serrinity. A great place to be close to the beautiful ocean, nature and the natural beauty God wants us to appriciate ,while watching the obsterboats leav at the crack of dawn, in the setting he created for us. Hello Martin and Joanie: When my wife and I watched your last video, we were very heavy hearted to hear the news from your Dr. I'm so glad to learn that you both are Christians and trust in the Lord in all things, even more so in times like these! Martin, just keep telling yourself,"I've got it, It ain't got me and I'm not ready To slow down". Was diagnosed with Stage 4 non-small cell lung and iymph node cancer in June of 2009 and given 6 months to live. I live by this motto. Stay POSITIVE and fight the fight. Good luck and God bless.
