Just want you two to know I am binge watching your videos. Discovered you recently and I keep coming back for more. My husband enjoys you, too. You are so entertaining and uplifting and funny. I greatly admire that you are also first responders, which makes you heroes. So glad you have struck a balance in your lives and that you are really living life so well. My husband and I spent a year out on the road in our 5th wheel and thoroughly enjoyed it. We hope to be able to do it again. We toured the perimeter of the USA, starting from our home base in Oregon, to Idaho to visit our son, and across the upper states (loved Glacier NP and the upper peninsula of Michigan - want to go back) and into Canada (the maritimes). Spent quite a bit of time in Maine, down the east coast, and wintered in Florida. We did that in a 2002 McKenzie Monaco Medallion 5th wheel (wonderful) from May 2014 to May 2015. We now have a 2017 Highland Ridge Open Range Light 5th wheel. We drove to Wisconsin to get it in October 2017. We love your adventures.

My wife and I are full time in a 42 ft Dynamax Trilogy 3850RL 5th wheel. We love to play a game we call Take 2. Its a form of speed scrabble and is a cutthroat game.

Ours is 260RD (29 feet and a few inches)...cozy luxury for us and our intrepid Springer Spaniel, Belle. It’s 20 degrees here in upstate NY this morning so getting all the plumbing up and at ‘em this weekend prolly won’t be a-happenin but our maiden voyage is in 2 weeks and we are optimistic we’ll be back into nice spring temps by then. I saw some of your episodes on Winter in PA and wonder this: were you always operating on water on-board? Seems like you couldn’t have depended on a hose when it was sub freezing. Are your tanks well enough heated to withstand winter with the insul-board around the outside?

Oh that sounds perfect, the size you have is really nice. We started off with a 27 foot travel trailer and now are in a 34 foot fifth wheel. Honestly 34 is really big for some parks. Seems like you guys will have some great flexibility with 29 feet 😃 Can’t wait to hear more about this maiden voyage y’all are taking. Where about are you heading? We did run all the time with just water in the fresh holding tank. We don’t have a heated hose, so during the day we would fill up the fresh water, drain the hose and run our water through the water pump. Also the skirting was a mandatory thing (I kyle didn’t think it would need to be because we have the heated underbelly).... but I was wrong. One morning we woke up and it was 3 degrees outside. Despite the furnace blowing all night, the pipes froze on us. We immediately got skirting and never had another issue since. It really cut down on cost of propane as well because we weren’t going through nearly as much 🙂

You guys are adorable!! We're leaving on our first trip of the 2021 season today, and are bringing our 18 and 2 year old cats for the first time!! We brought them out to our camper at the storage lot a couple of weeks ago, and I'm happy to say they didn't fuss or scream on the ride there, or in the camper! Calming treats helped for sure! Today will be a 2 hour drive, so I'm nervous!! BTW, I'd be feeding those outside kitties too!! "You act like I had a choice. When the wife asks you to do something..." LOL!! 😻

Yeah card games are like the easiest and most convenient while on the road. We got a waterproof set of cards which has been awesome! Maybe one day we can all meet up and play some card games, grab some dinner 😃

If you don't have a TSD logistics card for your diesel, I recommend it. Seriously good discounts at TA and Petro, and decent discounts at Loves and some other stations. Also, many Cabela's have dump stations which are cheaper than Flying J, Pilot or others ($5.00 I think).

We finally just applied for a TSD card!! Now we are just waiting for it to arrive in the mail. Why is TSD offering such great discount for a free program? Oh thank you for letting us know about Cabelas, we hadn't though of this!

I spent a long time playing Cribbage. I found your channel along with FOS and KYD and PYP and a few others trying to get the info before my daughter and I started RV-ing in between moves. Dexter loves the full-time life! He sleeps in his oversized cage in the truck during travel days like a toddler and then the first thing he does when he gets in the RV at the new location #1 stretch those legs #2 look out screen door for birds...it's a very important schedule 😆 We have a video, I believe it was one of our firsts on RV travel with cats! We retired about 19 months ago and are enjoying the RV lifestyle. We play card games a lot too, UNO, Dutch Blitz, Phase Ten and more. They are small and light weight which are both great for RVers. We also rent furnished homes to travel nurses which is a great community. I love your channel and the way you get along. It's obvious that in addition to being married that you are best friends. Reminds me of my wife and me. Safe travels and keep having fun together.

I opened one of our slides on my wife's laptop one time and it did NOT end well. Fortunately, it was a MacBook Air that was closed and, believe it or not, it wasn't damaged AT ALL!! The facia of the slide out, though, was a totally different story. All that was damaged beyond repair in the end was my pride......

That's great, we had a home base for the first two years but never spent much time there, always had our stuff in the RV! Love the solitude 310GK as well, great rig! The nav system was just our iphones plugged into car play in the truck. Easier to use than the built in nav system and can easily navigate songs on iphone or podcasts also! A lot of Maverick gas stations have free dumps. Very dependent on where you are at. I know 1 in Grand Junction, CO has 1 for sure. I'm 90% sure Utah has them too. A lot of rest areas have dumps that are free out here, Wyoming has some really "nice" places to dump.

The camping we will MOSTLY be doing would be RV camp ground my gpa was ALWAYS going to..once we get bearings and comfy...we will venture out. Concerned about tight turns and possibly having difficulties with finding locations with a bigger RV. Don’t think we would like to go bigger than 36 foot not sure if that’s tooo much.

Yeah I would say our RV is pushing the limits for a bigger size rig and we are living in a 34 footer. That’s great to hear, window shopping is always fun 🙂 we don’t have much experience with that brand, but it seems like a nice rig! Love that y’all are taking things at your own pace and finding a comfortable groove before venturing out. No rush, just taking it at the Guerrero family pace 👍🏼

@@HappilyEverHanks Nah, just a weekender and love the outdoors. Playing around with a Falcon 18RB. Learned to play GO in England from another USAF neighbor... checkers and chess in my youth. Cribbage, too. Bought a well-used '96 Ram 2500 with a V10 to tow it after learning my '92 Jeep with manual xmission was illegal to use. Got the Ram up to snuff for towing and gave it to the dealer to fix the "Clank" when selecting reverse.... they threw an overhaul kit in the rear end and "tested" it. Apparently they hadn't set it up correctly and BENT BOTH AXLES ! They've had the truck for a month, now. AHHH, The RV life..... don't you love it?

Not a card game, but dice! When my wife and I go camping with my parents, we always try to get adjacent sites. One of the games we love to play is Left-Right-Center, where everyone starts off with 3 quarters. Depending on which direction you roll is where you pass your quarter.

Try this for hand signals. Spread your arms out with palms down on top and up on bottom. Spread your palms out and when you start getting close, move your palms apart about the distance left to go. When palms meet, the driver knows to stop. The problem is you have to put the stupid camera down!

@@HappilyEverHanks oh, wish we could...we were there last month. I paddled with the gopro on my head almost all day and saw manatee! They are probably leaving now, like we have..... we're in TX now. Hopefully our paths will cross some day. 😉

@@HappilyEverHanks you can and we actually did, but they may be gone as they leave when it starts getting warmer, usually end of March first of April. There are so full time resident Manatees they keep at the State Park in Homosassa Springs you can see if the wild ones are gone. You can't snorkel with them there though. We loved the "Nature Coast" area! Have a blast!

We have epic games of Skip Bo that drag on for hours, (pack snacks!) then whoever is losing it literally trying to "redeem their good name" for the rest of the trip so we have to play SO many rounds because we are both SUPER competitive!!! Our pugs travel along so we are going to have to teach them to pull their weight by cutting the deck. Fun video, thanks for sharing.
