There's an indoor carousel that my mother rode as a child on the north end of the boardwalk in Sea Side Heights , New Jersey. I was born in 1951 and I to rode it as well many decades ago as well . Yikes I'm getting old LOL !

Just visited the Henry Ford last week....I think anyone that enjoys stepping back in time once in a while should definitely spend at least a couple days here.....The Model T ride was beyond words to me. Ours was a 1914 Touring car. It's hard to believe that it's possible to step into places like the Edison Laboratory and the Wright Bros shop, besides all the amazing things in the museum itself.....It's definitely a #4 Bucket List place to visit!

We really enjoyed the Greenfield Village. My husband grew up in Michigan and went there as a kid in grade school. We attended later on as a newly married couple but we didn’t have time to see everything. So a refresher trip will be necessary!! If you enjoyed the Roundhouse there in Greenfield Village, you should go see the roundhouse in Jamestown, CA. It is a working roundhouse- or at least it used to be. Also, there is a train museum in Old Sacramento that is awesome. They have a roundhouse as well! Loved this video!

So cool. I grew up a few miles from there, lots of visits and never knew about the unlimited pass. There use to be an old fashioned paddle boat that would circle the village on a small lazy river, and in the summertime, my dad had a job playing the banjo on the boat.

Horace and John Dodge started the Dodge Motor Company. There’s a very interesting story on their lives and deaths. Henry Ford played a part in their lives and it wasn’t a good one. I think the story on the Dodge brothers would make a great movie.
