Full-Time Travel: What I Keep In My Shower Bag!

I keep some S hooks in the side pocket my bag for showers at campgrounds, pools & gyms so I have a way to keep the bag dry & off the ground. Don’t always need one, but there were several times there was no bench & nowhere to set my bag or towel. I also keep a combination padlock in bag for public pools that have lockers. Also, since there is painted metal on ceiling a few inches above the back doors of my minivan I keep several magnets 🧲 up there to hand my towel & swimsuit 🩱 up to dry while I drive. They usually are dry by the time I get back to camp.

You might want to consider getting "pillow slides" for the shower. The ones made with ethelyne vinyl. You can wear them into the shower to protect your feet and clean them (even with harsh cleaners) and will dry in minutes. We used them in the spa and between users they would go into a bacteriacide bath and looked perfectly new for ages. Plus they are comfortable!

I have been in my van 5 years now and rarely see any 'new ideas' I haven't either tried of at least heard of. You consistantly and pleasantly surprise me. Your channel is so refreshing and I have actually learned things from you! This bag and the whole bar shampoo and conditioner system is going to be HUGE and significant change for me and I'm excited! I love love love this video and can't wait to go buy my new bar shampoo and conditioner - and shower bag of course. (Also - right there with you on the shaving thing. lol I probably shave every 6 months, if that. And I don't care. lol)

I found using one of those puff exfoliate things works well for me. I dry it under those air dryers before I leave the gym. It is a game for me and if it's still damp I hang to dry in the car.

Brooke you are so refreshing.. I love your honesty and transparency. I think you are amazing you"ve thought of everything and I have been wanting to cut down on the plastic bottling of products. Was wondering if you used any of the bar products and now I'm going on the website to place an order to try the shampoo bar. I am always looking for a sulfate free clean product and their website seems to have all of it. You look great, know what you're doing and one of the most genius things you could ever do is use a cooler bag so that you can wipe it out when it's wet inside. Pips eminds me so much my dog that's now in a better place but she had the same temperament. You're awesome

I used to do it in college when Lush got popular for shampoo bars and I was carrying a caddy to and from the shower and totally forgot about that it was an option! Plus the SuperZero ones are much better quality than the ones I used to get at Lush lol

Thanks for the video. I was wondering what happens with Pippa if you are visiting the gym to shower in a hot climate? I have a cat and when I've camped with her, it really limited where I could go. Do you have to do more outdoor showers at your car? I imagine that even when the temperature would be fine for a dog to be in a car, people walking by would freak out seeing her in there.

In case you have access, I’ve found the Trader Joe’s sunscreen in the yellow bottle to be excellent for face and body (I too keep it in the front of my truck) and it lasts forever. I love your Idea for using bars for soap and shampoo. I find that there is so many unnecessary chemicals in bottles and it seems like you have to use more of a product from a bottle than a bar to feel clean. I'm going to take a look at your Amazon favs. I'm a new sub 💕 love your content.
