THAT is not how we are meant to live!! Experiences like the van life, the travel, the different cultures, the food.....they are priceless and cannot be bought!! I think this is the best layout of a van ever. I love the kitchen being horizontal behind the driver and passengers seats. It opens up the rest of the van with a wider, more spacious living area. I love the elevated bed too. Enjoy!

Nice conversion. To be honest, one of my favorites. This appears to be a old Iveco Daily model 4912. The similar present model would be the Daily 55c17. Iveco offers a version which has more than 2 mts of internal height. It is higher than the H2 Sprinters or any other van in the market, as far as I know. With an internal lenght of about 4,50 Mts this model is also a bit longer than the extra-long 170" Sprinter. Some people may find it too big, but for me it is the best option for van conversion. The only drawback is that it is narrow at the bottom (same width as the Sprinter) and tapers quite a lot to the top. Also beware that those old Ivecos tend to get some rust in some areas (bottom of the doors, for instance), in special if you live by the beaches.

(Learned this in science class today) plants produce a small amount of co2 only during the night. So in a small not well ventilated space you'd basically be breathing co2 :). Just wanted to say this is my favorite van by far

Love your setup I too have an 2004 Iveco daily RV. Mine looks like an egyptian temple inside and my friends say it looks like my home did. What's not to love ! Very practical. Personally I love the 'hippy' style, bits everything all over - so far from the weekend away van bought for thousands by Swift, Bessacar, Elddis etc. Yes they look smart but so clinical and bland. I wonder how a 21 yr old van is for reliability. I've been told the best Sprinters are over 10 years old ! Love this life great videos, Steff makes for a very pleasant experience!

I love Ivy. I'm all for older vehicles. Much cheaper to run and repair, and if cared for more reliable. I have removed the cassette toilet from my trailer caravan (my full time home) and installed a "Natures Head" composting toilet. A bit expensive, but well worth it. Needs attention much less often, doesn't need water, less smelly. I am really pleased with it. I have never done Tajine cooking (although I have often eaten it in Morrocco). How do you get on with it?

Go for VW Crafter or MB Sprinter H2 L4, so the longest version if possible. Its much more comfy than any other van. Sprinter is more reliable.

Hi Michael I'm on the sick at the moment I'm a veteran and have PTSD .but when I started I worked for driver hire which is a nation wide .all so worked on campsite the best part of it I might only work 1 week and have a couple of weeks of .if your not shy of work you will always find work .if you check my channel out I've got a bit about the van .and will do more and will answer any of your questions on a video.
