Brilliant video Chai and brought back all the memories of my family visit there some 20 years or so ago. The footage from the drone was quite amazing and I must say the information presentation by Noona superbly done (sounded very professional). I'm so pleased you made it to Erawan Waterfalls. Walking the 7 tiers is the highlight for me but we did spend most of the day there which enabled us to do so. Lovely place Kanchanaburi and I'm not surprised at all that you are planning a revisit down the track. Cheers guys 🤩

Ey Steven! Thats always one of the nicest things to hear when I’m able to bring people back in time :) haha yes! It’s so close to Nakhon Pathom so we will revisit Kanchanaburi at some stage again, hopefully next year 😁 have a great Sunday mate 🍻

I spent some time in Kanchanaburi last year - I really enjoyed it . There is a lot of history there & well recognized . I understand the Australian government funded & continues to - the Hell fire pass building , which is , as you say , very impressive. Many nationalities lost lives during WW11 whilst trying to build a railway . The skywalk over the River Kwai is very different with great views & being able to walk across the train track there is very unique . I particularly liked both of your accommodation choices ✔️✌️😎👋🤩🙏 - Thank you Mr Chai & Noona

Yes that’s right. It really stands out. We were very impressed about how well it is taken care of and how the center has been built. We both experienced some Australian quality over there. Hopefully history won’t repeat itself 🙏☮️Cheers mate!

They've really developed that area to be the best rural tourist hospitality in all the world. Thanks for showing how modernized and beautiful an old place with a dark war history became out of people returning in the modern age for peace and serenity away from the clash of empires. The bridge doesn't look dangerous and treacherous anymore. I remember that area had bungalow huts along the river, the bridge at river Kwai and the war memorial with intricate art of a dragon on the building. Then we rented motorbikes to experience Tiger Temple out on the highway further West towards 3 Pagodas Pass which probably isn't there any longer. We wanted to go venture into Myanmar, but it was still closed. I finally went in 2010 which was like no other experience feeling like I'd went back 100 years, but in a good way for there wasn't the Japanese nor British empires around nor was the junta and CCP being bad at the time. Unfortunately the communism, civil war, and clash of empires is still not a thing of the bygone past so people that can afford to are traveling in 2024 like no tomorrow. I wish I could rejoin the digital nomad tribes but there are serious financial and technical glitches going on though I know it's still not crazy expensive with crazy inflation and 1984 in real life like in our formerly great Western countries, namely America and Britain. The glamping looks absolutely fabulous being modern and convenient with the very best food one could order up anywhere. The secret is out saying come and get it now or never.

@@Chai_Travel Absolutely! Just found you last night with pleasant 2024 updates to some old familiar places after enduring a miserable night in America with fire alarms going off again for we're having so many technical glitches and errors going off. The firemen actually tried to say someone blew up a fire extinguisher which is wasn't a logical explanation along with no smoke. The West is truly becoming our nightmare, but you won't have to deal with it if expatriated until the US dollar is lost to a disastrous new history. I've never felt as much fear before yet not a kid nor humiliated with such a crazy thing like this most funky election coming our way with whatever blowback to needlessly burden us. If one could fly with a chest full of small gold coins, one could escape off to a new land for the old one is dreadfully lost.

Like the video. ❤ Keep it up, Chai. There are another ways to call Karnchanaburi by local Thai. It is usually said Muang Karn. Other for comedy is Karn "na-ja" (นะจ๊ะ) buri.😅 I think Noona can explain you the meaning.
