TWA Motorsports 6.0 is all the way. You can mod the hell out of that engine.

@@dlo__3929 I would either be that or 4.8 or 5.3 with a turbo but who knows. I should probably keep the v6 and give to my son for his first truck.

Thanks for the video, have '97 Chevy OBS with 4.3 V6 like yours and I am at the cap and rotor stage of things. You have taken the mystery out of those parts for me. I have also moved or removed items that will "bite" me. You seemed to breeze right on through all that air conditioning stuff, hoses wiring, etc. impressive. Cheers

I'll have to try the fuel filter change on my truck. It starts really hard some mornings (sometimes 2 or 3 cranks). Then idles rough like it's fighting to stay alive. Never stalls out but comes close. Has an aftermarket air filter and it's clean, so I'm thinking the fuel pump isn't doing it's job of maybe the spark plugs are bad. I just ran some Lucus oil injector/fuel cleaner to see if that would help any but no luck

As a guy who is new to working on his truck and learning things about it, what is the benefit of new spark plugs and wires?
@TWAMotorsports5 жыл бұрын
Old wires are brittle and can not make a good connection. Plugs foul up over time any need replaced at least every 100k miles.

Hi there, Great Video! I have a 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 4.8. it has 74000 miles. I bought in 2004, never done nothing major except for an oil change, filter change and some other fluids as well as the serpentine belt, question for you and hopefully you can answer my question. I have been asking when to do a major tune-up and some mechanics said 100000 K and others 150000k , do you know when is the perfect milage to do a major tune-up on my GMC Sierra? FYI since I bought it have no issues yet, Thank you in advance and I really like your video!
