Good question! We either showered in campsites, or showered using the free beach showers. Download the app CamperMate and it will tell you the showers available too! As for toilets there are so many public toilets available when on the road :) You can also find these on CamperMate app

How does the aircon work? I’m planing to travel during summers so aircon is must at night for good sleep.

Hey! There isn't any aircon in this one, only in the front passenger seats when you're driving :)

Hey Tom! I recommend checking out the apps campermate and Wikicamps as they provide all the free camping sites around Australia and New Zealand! You can filter to free, low cost, and normal campgrounds with all the amenities, this is what we use all the time for our road trips in Aus & NZ :) Otherwise, I believe you can download the Travellers Autobarn app and they may have more info :)

You can, but wouldn't recommend it whilst driving!

That's awesome! I was thinking of hiring through them. When you went to powered campsites, was it expensive? You must have gone regularly to charge your laptops - or did you charge them some other way? 🧐 Thanks!

Hey! Campsites were very reasonable, you should check out campermate app as it gives you all the places you can stay and how much they charge across the whole of AUS and NZ. If we didnt stay in a campsite we just popped into Maccas and charged our laptops and bought a coffee. So that worked out pretty great!! :)
