Now this is what you call exquisite revenge. Her tactical skills can't be matched. She was playing masterclass chess, while everyone else was playing connect 4. Even her husband who was only a step behind, could match her, but he was there to be her rock and defender if/when she needed him. The best thing he did for though was to be vulnerable in front of her and tell her of his love for her. Finally, someone loved her for her. This was so well done and will be on the rewatch list.

This mini-drama is made with low budget, as I can see. It's funny to see that there's no enough opulence sets, custom jewelleries', attendants, servants, soldiers, etc., for the whole drama. But this aspect doesn't affect the good story line and acting of the cast members. This is really an enjoyable mini-drama.

cant thank enough to those ppl who recommend this drama , this was well written, and no rushed scenes, no slow paced as well, , i love this! i often skip scenes cuz their talks bored me sometimes but i finished this exactly 3 and a half hours, ❤ the casts gave justice to their characters, Li jian is really handsome and suits his character best 😁, Quiyi played her character well with her expressions

This is my favorite time travel drama. Great acting, no plot holes, no beating of women and strangling them, revenge was accomplished and it didn't drag. LOVE IT. Anytime it comes across my timeline I rewatch it.

I have watched A LOT of time-traveling tropes dramas but this is by far my favorite. Anytime I come across it, I watch it again. There was no ML slapping or strangling FL or stupidly believing the 2FL. It was pure revenge on a rollercoaster. Love it.

Excellent job! The script was written sensibly and well executed. The performance of Wu Ming Jing (Murong Qiuyu) and Chang Bin (Li Jian) and the supporting couple should be applauded. They showed great acting skills, playing their roles, thanks to which we watched a well-acted spectacle. I sincerely recommend it!💯👌

Such a wonderful drama. Evil actually get what they deserve. For a mini drama they did an excellent job of writing a story that doesn't feel pieced together from a much larger with a bunch of storyline missing. I wish it was a longer storyline but only because it was so well done I just wanted more. The fl is excellent with her facial expressions. You see the hate and disgust for her enemies even in the false smiles she gives. The slow quiet chemistry that develops between the leads was perfect. I highly recommend this to anyone checking the comments to see if this is worth their time. 👍👍👍👍👍

Wow. What a perfect drama❤ I'm out of words. Absolutely amazing plot. Great acting from all characters. Kudos to the writers! First Chinese drama with a Power Couple. Love how they communicate and take actions meticulously without alerting the enemy. Loved the fact that they could predict the wrongdoings so they could act accordingly. Glad more Asian dramas are made with FLs that are not easily driven by impulse and emotions. She was very smart. Empowering indeed. Karma was served on a cold plate with the right amount of garnish. I wish the story was longer. Totally worth watching!

Why is it that the more I rewatch the full version more, and more conversations are mute. Thankfully, English subtitles are added to make the conversation understandable yet horrible when you want to "hear" what is being said. My ability to hear Chinese being spoken is helping me to understand many repeated words by all the Asian, mostly Chinese movies I am learning the language. I look forward to the time I no longer need English subtitles to understand what is being said. Huh, I didn't even notice that, not sure if it's intentional or not, but it kinda helps with his character, I mean it was a fake scar to begin with that he paints everyday in order to protect himself so it kinda makes sense that it's not always in the same place, plus it shows that he was successful in making himself invisible, he was so overlooked they don't even notice him much less his scar............

Loved it! Actors were great. The second sister was especially good. Shows what you can do on a small scale. Never a dull moment. Even the camera work was good. I think the most honest moment came from when the heroine recognized that she and her sister were alike. The heroine acknowledged her prior evils.

I just wished that at the end of this movie it would have ended with her telling him that she was pregnant with twins (boy baby & girl baby) because then it’s like she not only got her first baby back but also a bonus baby too. Plus that way the directors & producers can create a new movie about her raising them up in the palace and also on the battlefield. Maybe even watch them get married as adults too. But that’s just my opinion on what should happen. The movie was great, loved all the characters and plots & how her husband never had any real doubts about her feelings towards his brother and her half sister & stepmother. She loved her dad and he loved her too but he was devoted to her stepmom until he found out that maybe she was not faithful to him for several years and that it’s possible that her half sister was actually a bastard child who was born from an unfaithful affair with her stepmom and who knows how many men she was secretly dating during their marriage. I mean her daughter was definitely not a pure type of woman she had several times with the 2nd prince out of wedlock. She was probably jealous because of her sister was still a pure, beautiful, loving, talented woman who was also very brave and talented in martial arts. The evil sister was just a spoiled bastard who thought she had a real biological father who would spoil her over his other daughter. News flash you might not be his daughter so he will start spoiling & supporting his real daughter from now on.😂

Sometimes I don't need to see more about the unfairness happening to the MC, making us see with back--flash is enough. The ML actor kinda of looks like Roowon from SF9 to me🤗 Giving the FL/MC a job as the general is gluing all pieces in one. Great job for the writer
