lets all be honest. If this was a male cop, it would have been life in prison. Open up the waterworks, cry some tears, shrug off all responsibility. Fully give the impression that you're just a harmless incompetent idiot that is incapable of harming anyone. Yet at the same time have lived your whole life as if you're a "badass" supercop. Yeah, slight contradiction there. Also all the words about wanting to "help" people. But all you could do for the innocent person YOU shot was repeat to the operator that you thought you were in the wrong apartment. It's very clear the ONLY person she was worried about was herself. She wrote off his life the second she pulled the trigger. Another thing is someone saying or yelling "hey, hey" as someone has a gun pointed at them is a word used to try to reason with your attacker. It's a word used by many before being shot. It's one of those words that just kind of rolls off the tongue in a split second situation of shock and confusion and again to try to reason with a person because you know you have only seconds before a bullets strikes you and it's all you can say to get a person to rethink what they are doing. This probably won't make sense to most people, but it's true. Listen to 911 tapes or videos of people before being shot or attacked and you will see exactly what I'm saying. It's almost always that word.

Yes, she was...the victim had a bowl of ice-cream and a spoon in his hands..the perpetrator had a uniform with a badge and gun in her hand...So who is the real tragedy here...??

She obviously doesn't mean it that way, at the time of the shooting that is what she meant. When she believed it was her apartment still he would of been a threat.

RIGHT! SMH! Black men and women in prison with longer sentences for lessor crimes! But she boo hoo in court, and gets hugs!? OK Amber why did you not try to apprehend him, you have a gun, your also trained in stressful situations, you would have woken up out of your stupor and realized YOU were in the wrong apartment! And why did you scrub your social media accounts? Something to hide? Usually racist stuff, don’t want anyone to see that right? Yes forgive the sin, but sentence her accordingly!
