My thing is when you walked in and he was sitting down on HIS couch, did you not realize that none of the decor/furniture is familiar to you? Even if the apartment floor plan is the same, NO ONE has the same furniture and set up as their neighbor. C’mon now!

@Rodger Hodgson she is a dumb blonde for real.if its dark in the apartment...how can you ask to see the persons' hands? How can you shoot into the dark without knowing u are hitting yout target? Did she have to freaking shoot? Why not back into the hallway thereby luring the suspect into the hallway where you can get a clear identification of the suspect as well the situation....before you get trigger happy!

lets all be honest. If this was a male cop, it would have been life in prison. Open up the waterworks, cry some tears, shrug off all responsibility. Fully give the impression that you're just a harmless incompetent idiot that is incapable of harming anyone. Yet at the same time have lived your whole life as if you're a "badass" supercop. Yeah, slight contradiction there. Also all the words about wanting to "help" people. But all you could do for the innocent person YOU shot was repeat to the operator that you thought you were in the wrong apartment. It's very clear the ONLY person she was worried about was herself. She wrote off his life the second she pulled the trigger. I feel disgusted that the victims last moments were watching his murderer completely ignore him struggling to breath, whilst she went into complete damage control mode

Another thing is someone saying or yelling "hey, hey" as someone has a gun pointed at them is a word used to try to reason with your attacker. It's a word used by many before being shot. It's one of those words that just kind of rolls off the tongue in a split second situation of shock and confusion and again to try to reason with a person because you know you have only seconds before a bullets strikes you and it's all you can say to get a person to rethink what they are doing. This probably won't make sense to most people, but it's true. Listen to 911 tapes or videos of people before being shot or attacked and you will see exactly what I'm saying. It's almost always that word.

Jevon Brown I did think about smell. Not just Caribbean homes, but every home has its own distinct smell. I’d know straight away if my house smelled differently. It’s one of our strongest senses. I do understand though about the seasonings. I don’t know how she walked into an apartment that had a big red doormat, that had none of her furniture, absent of her particular smell, and shot someone without ANY of her logic kicking in. It seems impossible to me.

What’s with the public with all the back the Blue signs and t shirts? Looks like Blue has its own back. The public needs to be in Blue’s business a lot more than it is. How is having an adulterous affair with another officer not grounds for serious disciplinary action up to and including termination for cause? If this lack of standards is the hallmark of the police, I wonder what other immoral behavior is acceptable. This case proves lying and preferential treatment for criminal suspects that are on the job is standard operating procedure. Please don’t get me wrong, I like cops, I just like them better when they are not around.
