​​@@THEPREACHERSPORTALany mistake that grieves the holy spirit to the extent of cutting off the flow of the anointing is a serious mistake that should be corrected immediately. Thank God for His mercies that the anointing came back the next day and people were blessed Some other pastors can go on to preach even if the anointing is not there. Everybody cannot be the same. Relationship and walk with God is personal.

Is Apostle Arome now comparing the Church to the mosque? The mosque is no match for the Church of Jesus Christ! And the way he reacted was so foolish. He shouldn't have left the stage. He should've rather asked the ushers to either seize the phones from those whose phones rang till he was done preaching or walk them out of the auditorium till he was done preaching. That would've been more mature than leaving the stage entirely. I remember teaching some teenagers at a teen's Bible class and three of their phones rang simultaneously. I warned them to put their cellphones on silent mode and continued teaching. Again, four of their phones rang. I simply asked an usher to take them outside the hall and cane them, then bring them back. That was done and such actions never repeated itself again till I left the church in 2021. Let all things be done decently and in order (1 Corinthians 14:40).

@@evansglobal1 people came back the following day because they understand.. He said the flow of anointing cuts off whenever a phone rings. That's personal to him. Should he continue to preach even when he senses the holy spirit is grieved and has left?

He is not comparing mosque to church. He was talking about the level of discipline. I think the standard in church should be higher. If you are one of those distracting church service with your phone please stop.

@@paporamarama1561 I won't debate with anyone about this but I don't see a reason why he should leave the stage. Maybe my consecration dynamics are different from his.

@@paporamarama1561 I agree with you that the standard in church should be held higher, but I believe every preacher should manifest self-control. Not everyone who comes to church meetings come to experience God, some come to disrupt the service. So the best thing he should've done is to tell the ushers to walk the person out of the auditorium or seize the phone till he's done preaching. That will serve as deterrent for others.
