I didn't know that Kyles Dad, Grandma and Friends all lived in Kenosha, 20 minutes from where he resided with his Mom part time in Illinois. I didn't know that Kyle did not cross state lines with a gun he wasn't supposed to have. The rightful gun owner did, as he was legally permitted to do. If Kyle is found guilty, then no person has any right to defend themselves anymore. The evidence speaks for itself. Self defence all day, every day. The firearm charges were dropped, meaning Kyle had every right to be carrying his rifle. Anything can be used as a deadly weapon, whether it's a skateboard, chain, gun, or even your hands and feet. There is no obligation to run, no obligation to exhaust other options to defend yourself, such as using your fists. He shot only the people attacking him or chasing him to the point where Kyle feared for his life, no one else, and shot until the threat was no longer. No excessive force, no unjustified use of force. Kyle acted lawfully in self defence and should be found not guilty on all counts.

Nope your boy is Headed to prison because the unintentional second choice they add points a gun at pythats three times of pointing the gun 2x25, for both the unintentional killing and three times 10 is 30 so the second degree since they added the pointing a deadly weapon so 50 + 30 is 80 years he's not going to got out of it his buddy that bought the gun is getting 6 years just for buying it for an under aged person. And the guy and his wife that set the truck on fire and fired off one round in the air will get 5 years for firing off a gun in the city limits. Pluss 10 years for setting fire to the truck in the city limits. So if all those people are going to jail I bet he gets changed no way in hell with all the evidence against him the defense didn't prove anything just BS lies from people he knew will not stop them from coviction. And the two payed for witness 😂😂😂😂 it's over rover

In fairness, the defense didn't really win as much as the prosecution just lost. Not that there was much they could've done anyway (all the evidence and testimony overwhelmingly proved self-defense) but they made it far worse and Binger not only displayed incompetence but also alienated the judge. Worst case I've ever seen prosecuted. Binger is a disgrace.
@JeffSmith-eq3kc Жыл бұрын
I agree to an extent. I think the defense did exactly what they needed to do though. They knew the evidence was in their favor. This is one of those cases where you allow the prosecution to destroy itself with its own facts and evidence. Particularly once the prosecution was completely unable to prove what they stated in the opening. At the end of the day they did a great job. Kyle is a free man.

@TheFenrirulfr2 жыл бұрын
just here to correct wrong usage of word "assault rifle" wether or not a rifle can be classified as an "Assault rifle" depends on its capabilities. if the rifle is capable of fully automatic fire by the pressing of the trigger, it is an assault rifle. Kyles AR-15 is not capable of fully automatic fire, nor "select fire" (which just means you can swap between Semi-automatic and Fully-automatic). if you have heard people refer to kyle rittenhouse's gun as an "assault rifle" they are at best wrong, and at worst - purposefully lying.

I love these defence attorney's.. they were well prepared for this case. They made sure they had all of the evidence from every source, they made sure there were expert witnesses, they made sure the state witnesses were cross-examined and shown to be liars such a Grosskreutz and his friend. They truly believed in their client's innocence and made sure everyone who took the time to watch this trial in its entirety would too. The Prosecution was ill-prepared, they speculated so much because they knew their case was weak... they tried demeaning the witnesses they knew they couldn't use accusing them of all sorts of things even though they weren't on trial. The fact that Binger kept rolling his eyes and acting surprised during the defense closing arguments shows he would do anything to make his case even if it means acting as if he didn't say and do these things. Thank God Kyle Rittenhouse had these lawyers on his side or he would most likely be started a life sentence for this tragic event.

I can't say these defense was great. One of them was great at cross examining but the defense made a LOT of mistakes and didn't object to a lot of key issues like they should have. The reality is that the prosecution was completely inept and was pushing to try a case they had no business bringing to trial in the first place. The prosecution's own key witnesses constantly contradicted the prosecution and their narrative when the prosecution was questioning the witnesses themselves. If you want a better idea of how the defense messed up multiple times, look up and watch the videos from Rakita Law of the entire Rittenhouse Trial. There were MULTIPLE lawyers questioning the defense on multiple occasions.
