Lagos, due to its strategic location and wealthy population, has always being a trail blazer amongst states. Remember, Lagos was once the federal capital of Nigeria, for every N1.00 spent in Nigeria, N0.40k is spent in Lagos that is 40% of all expenditure in Nigeria;- this is how Lagos has always being before Tinubu and will be after him. The story of Lagos state is like the story of a son that inherited landed property in Ikoyi/Victoria Island, while another son inherited landed property in Ajegunle/Agege, and both sons sought for investors to develop their land. Pls tell me which land will investors flock to develop? It doesn't take a genius to increase IGR of Lagos. Which strategy Obi get? Only sweet talking abi, the same strategy he could not demonstrate when he was governor. Anambra, despite having some of the biggest markets in West Africa ( Onitsha, Nnewi and Awka market), Obi could not take advantage of such markets to build the IGR of the state. Under Obi, Doctors went on strike for 13 months in Anambra. The same Obi who is one of the biggest importers of all sort of consumer goods into Nigeria is talking about consumption to production.
