A Badger Fan here: I was expecting both Pitt and Penn State to win tonight. As a coach, I have developed a great deal of respect for Coach Fisher and his team. It's too bad that they lost; they were the best team in the NCAA this season. That said, Louisville had the most impressive defense tonight. Hats off to Coach Kelly and her team. It’s a psychological thing that Pitt can’t get past the national semifinal. They need to figure it out and keep fighting.

Great season. Sucks Pitt didn't make it. Great Pitt block was just non existent, middles just couldn't get blocks. Vasquez Gomez hurt them again when in front row and got stuck some again with her and Fairbanks front row

I think this was just a huge mental block. Es in second and third sets when they were in control it’s like they lost focus. Honestly I think Fairbanks did not spread the offense. Vasquez Gomez barely got set and I think she did great tonight smart shots and creative. Fairs banks got too predictable with her setting choices. Run the middles. I was just screaming at the TV. But credit to Babcock cause my goodness is she a beast and she carries a tough load man. Louisville def got lucky tonight along with gutting it out and taking the opportunity when they got it. They stuck around in set 2 and 3 and stayed with in striking distance when they were not dominating.

The 2 best teams are definitely not playing in the title game. Especially after Nebraskas epic implosion. Embarrassing.
