Thanks for taking us along on this adventure at the junkyard. What these vehicles represent what once was, while maintaining others by giving up their parts as well. Junkyards are a bit of History. I don't remember Bob Hope or if it was Frank Sinatra or somebody else. Their heydays all predate mine. But one of them had a song thanks for the memories. Well you guys are making memories, while the remains of these vehicles are showing memories. I just like walking through salvage yards myself although I don't do that like I did when I was a kid.

Advance on the back of the Cadillac or probably for the rearvair conditioning unit for the limousine. there's probably controls for the air-conditioning at the rear of the car. and no I've only asked one guy forgot grey poupon!;🤣. Been about 15 years ago and he held it up a container of grey poupon. we thought it was hilarious but he's paying customers right in the back door limousine found us to be distracting. Thanks for that memory to return. I was only going to say that the vents were most likely far an air intake for the rear air conditioning system.

I love your father son outings to these old boneyards. I wish my dad would do stuff like that with me someday.

Talk with him. My boys and me used to go out and do this. We all had fun doing this. We went the other places and look at cars. One of my boys are no longer with me. my point is ask your dad tell him it's great to be able to do something together, the memories become priceless. I'm glad we had this opportunity. I always thought it would be them remembering me. Now the rest of my family and I will still go out and do things and and pickler things concerning cars. Regardless if you are four or 40, going to the same place will be another different adventure. going different places even more so. Now there are some things in life that we just have to do. they sometimes take away from the things you really want to do. so I'm only trying to be an encouragement. I know is that kid is only that age once. I wish you the best.

The road salt got a foothold on these vehicles. Then they made it here and they were all gas pigs and people were desperate for Hondas and Toyotas so these got kicked by the wayside. Now people are tired of the plastic junk things try to force on us. There may be a few good things in here but somebody really needs to hire a crew to go through the whole yard and break them all down and rescue everything that's rescuable and discard the rest and Warehouse the bits mainly the glass. That might be a good job for a bunch of these new migrants coming into the country
