I saw one of these used for years and years washing horse blankets, etc. It worked perfectly every time.

My grandmother had an Easy Spindrier. It was an older model that didn't have the water and drain spouts like this one has. It had 2 levers on each side that would control the agitator and the spin basket. Another lever in the lower center of the machine controlled the drain. She would roll the machine up to the sink where she attached the drain hose. She filled the machine from a rubber hose that was attached to the faucet. The sink was an old wall hung model with a removable drain board. Underneath the drain board was a deep sink or laundry tub. My grandmother would wash the clothes (light ones first), put them through the spinner, then transfer them to the deep sink where she rinsed them by hand as another load of clothes (darker ones) washed in the same wash water. Then she would return the rinsed clothes to the spin basket for another round. In late 1961 or early '62 (I was in second grade at the time), my grandmother bought her first automatic washer: an ABC-omatic, with the orbital agitator. I think ABC was already bought out by Kelvinator at the time. But it was the only machine that I have ever seen with such unique agitation and a window in the lid where you could watch the whole process. I remember one of these in our basement when I was maybe 4/5 years old. I used to climb in that spin unit (the machine was either off or didn’t work) and spin around in it.

My parents had a Thor Automagic washer that was built in 1948. They kept it long after they’d purchased automatic washers but mom often waged white washes in it for years as she could let the wash cycle run for forty five minutes to an hour. It was called Automagic because the wash and spin cycles were both done in the same tub. It had the same agitation speed.

If I ever come across a machine like this will remember the know's you need! That's a big load doing it's job! Love Vintage!! I had a Maytag Wringer best machine I ever owned. But like most of them the drain pump goes on them... another great vidio!!

I am here in New York and they were a couple of these on craigslist I was so tempted to get one but I just don’t have the space. One looked like it was in really good shape. I’ve also seen them with the white agitator. You know you did overload that a little bit.

I loved using that machine. You can still buy them in Mexico. Easy survived over there. You can even get them with either a V-14 ramp agitator, Super Roto Swirl agitator or the classic Easy Spiralator. Minus the Spin dryer though!

One of my Aunts had a Easy Spindrier her was an similar model to this one have the 4 levers too, the timer was a mechanical one having a red knob that could be set for up to 20 minutes. The spin tub lacked the perforated cone I have seen in other videos.

You don't have to drain the wash tub to use the spinner. Sudz saver. Wash one load while the other is spinning. The spinner will take the whole load from the wash tub.

Lorain Furniture - 😆, that is a twin tub washer, and it’s spinner is incredibly slow - compared to our British 🇬🇧 made twin tubs/top loading spin dryers that spun at 2800 rpm 😁, not quite sure why your U.S.A 🇺🇸 top loading washers have equally slow spin speeds 🤔

Someone needs a bit of training on how to use a twin tub lol. Way overloaded and wash water is reused for multiple loads, rinsing and spinning is done whilst the next load is being washed.
