Great video James!!! Next time you come down to Port Dover, I could give you some Blue Java banana pups to try. Mine are producing bananas this year.

Hey James, palms are looking some good. I took the plunge and planted my washy in the ground this summer. I'm in the GTA as well, wondering when you start thinking about boxing up the washies for the winter. Thanks boss

Hi James. You can cut off the seeds when you are ready to cover the palm. Put the branch of seeds in a box in a dark closet until they change color. Or you can leave on the palm. You’re going to have baby palms everywhere

Do you protect all your palms in the winter or do you let some of them outside?
@TheJames29293 ай бұрын
@@joachim6788 everything that is in the ground stays outside in the ground and gets winter protection. Everything in pots comes inside for the winter or in my storage unit.

about cutting of all the fronds. There is a KZbinr you might know called Austin Lovenstein From Little Rock, Arkansas. He would prune of every frond each year on his washingtonias without any problems. Trunk was thick and everything. there is a video of it called "Washingtonia Robusta Palm Austin Lovenstein" Its like 12 feet of trunk he says.
