I lost hearing in my left ear from playing drums from 11 years old then shows to big gigs at teenager to clubs then concerts. Ofc i get a booming system in car..... At 41 years old left ear turned off just like that. Just high frequencies gets through. Now im ear plugs all over place trying to save my right ear.

I'm 52 and my parents own 28 cars...hot rods and classics. One of my dads favorite cars...not the 409 62 Impala, not the 62 Vette, not the 67 911S Targa, not the Austin Healey chassis/62 VW Bug Bodied/Chevy 383/M21 speed Darth Vader ride he built in 73, not any of the other rides not being mentioned... it's the 1982 white Toyota Starlet that they drove me to school in back in 82 - and still drive to this day - EVERYDAY. Over a million miles on it and everwhere they go my dad has to say "It's not for sale" or thank someone for compliments on how clean it is...etc. Even Toyota dealers want it for thier showroom. Pops is buying newer salvaged Toyota truck to put the complete V6 driveline in the car. The stock 1.3L is on it's second round of life support. He loves watching modified Starlet videos when I show them to him.

My friend Bennie in Pompano bch. Fla. passed away the day after Christmas 2018. I knew him when he was just a boy riding a 20 in. bike. He had a 82 toyota starlet 90 mm turbo Mazda rx7 motor. He also owned a 69 camaro, a 68 nova, and a lot of other toy. He was married with a small son. He is missed by his family and friends. He was killed when a 600 honda flipped onto him. Despite their new found reliability, the rotaries are pretty much 'do a perfect race or don't bother'. So many rotors that blow the tyres off or miss a gear, they just stop. The big blocks seem to be able to pedal and get right back into it with the phat torque. The chicken cookers just go naa, next time. Haha
@fullboost5 жыл бұрын
What you're refering to is the type of gearbox used (clutchless) not really the engine type as such. You can't really 'pedal' them.
@BackyardMechanics5 жыл бұрын
‘Big blocks’ all run autos. These run clutchless manual gearboxes which require load to keep the gear engaged. As soon as you come off the throttle in the lower gears, the transmission automatically neutralizes itself and cannot go back in to gear without coming to a compete stop first.

The reaction time is not added to the E.T. the startet won with a slower time because it got to the end first meaning it had a better reaction time.

Unlike other plates on the market BilletPro's feature a removable insert.
@Bradicall5 жыл бұрын
Fullboost I’m not understanding so are the Billet Inc. Is their other parts that are replaceable on yours ? As I’m looking (research) into it can you explain the pros and cons.
@markpickering90785 жыл бұрын
Incorrect. Billet Inc pioneered them. Every rotary finalist at Orlando was running them. The 13B and 20B world record holders run them. Others copied them.
@Bradicall5 жыл бұрын
Fullboost how does the insert get retained in the plate ? Are they strong ? It looks like a nut ?
