World Championship Winning Flies: Luboš Roza's Pink Pheasant Tail Nymph

The Pheasant Tail Nymph is a tried and true classic fish catcher. In this fly tying tying tutorial Luboš walks us through how he ties it, and why he finds it to be so effective. This pink beaded version is one of Luboš Roza's confidence variations of the pheasant tail nymph, and is one he has in his box at all times. A good bit flashier than the original pheasant tail nymph, it has some serious attracting power. We've had some absolutely incredible days fishing for both trout and grayling with it, and won't be caught without it on the river.
If you don't yet know him, Luboš Roza is one of the most talented fly anglers in the word. He's a two time Youth Fly Fishing World Champion, and holds the record for the youngest person ever to win an Adult European Championship at age 20. In 2014, he also became a World Champion, winning in the Czech Republic. He is also an excellent fly tyer and fly designer. He is a true master of his craft. Hello - Is the original tying in this video using black peacock or green peacock or bronze peacock? I understand you could use whatever but I got the bronze peacock and it looks like heavy on the "brown" content. The one on the video looks dark so I assume black peacock? Thanks

The hook gap is very large for the shank length. Wonder who makes the hook. + An extremely large bead for the size of the fly. Super fast sink or very deep runs
