I've been in love with this song since I first watched Brotherhood, but for the longest time I could never even fathom the challenge of tackling this song, both lyrically and vocally. FMA is one of my top favorite anime, if not the top... and this song will always be up there as well. I had so much fun working on this one, you have no idea! Listening to this song these days brings me to tears.... I'm not going to go into too many specifics but pretty much I had a friend who's favorite anime was Full Metal Alchemist. We had a bunch of friends in our little group, with different quirks and personalities. Uhh, however one day we found out that she had kidney cancer, and it was terminal. A few months later she had died. I remember she always wanted to learn Japanese and learn to do covers on songs like "Again". Listening to this song reminds me of the old days, when we and the others used to hang out.

Could be the theme song for the entirety of RWBY. "These once blank pages of my notebook / Become a plea to regain fallen virtue" specifically evokes Blake's drawings of Adam in her notebook that we see in V2 E1, and "Once fury thorns in your heart / The fire's quick to consume you" could refer to a helluva lot of characters, again, Adam being one of them. Also "It's through your kindness, I'll always be grateful" screams Oz and the Maidens, because that is exactly what happened with them. The Maiden powers are the legacy of his gratitude for their kindness, for better and worse.

Two boys, one who is in a suit of armor. And the boy who has robotic limbs. Trying to bring back their mom, but it did not work. Going through a wild Journey just to get their bodies back to normal. What a story. This anime is the only anime that is a 10 out of 10. It has no flaws. And the characters are perfect. The plot twists are great. And has has a really good ending.

+Christopher Garcia Yeah, I tried to listen to some top 40 stuff a few months ago since I remember liking some over the past few years, so I figured that maybe I was just biased against them...nope, they were utter crap in my opinion. For some reason almost every artist I've heard just isn't as good after they become super famous. The Arctic Monkeys (still one of my favorite bands, just that I like their old stuff more), Linkin Park, Kanye West to list a few. The number of people that actually become better despite becoming famous are tiny. Pretty much the only examples I can think of are Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, and Adele although I'm sure there are more. Once again, this is just my opinion though.

Is incredible how good and smooth an english cover from a japanese song turned out. Both language are so different it mostly end either unatural or just plain wrong. But is also a very inspiring song. Since I dont understand any japanese this was the first time I saw the lyrics . Tought I did heard some people commenting how she adapted the lyrics to mach the english I dont mind. It sounded good and more inportant of all, it hit me right in the feels!
