the quality of animation is also astounding, its hard to accept this is from 2009-2010, but I guess that's just studio Bones at work

Especially considering how long it is and the fights and animation only get better, the last arc has a sakuga moment in pretty much every episode. Hell 2003 still looks good all things considered, compare it to the plethora of harem anime coming out in that time all looking like it was animated in flash. Bones is one of the strongest studios, in big part thanks to yutaka nakamura for sure.

You ever hear a song so good it makes you burst into tears because it's THAT GOOD?! Well ladies and gents I think I found the PERFECT example of a song just like that. Fullmetal Alchemist (both versions, we're not dissing one over the other here) will probably go down as the best anime I watched. So seeing this in my bloody recommended list caught me by surprise. I have synesthesia and I feel sounds on my skin like water or cloth with temperature. This version feels the same as the original. Some lyrics feel like soft blanket but the temperature and bubbles are the same for the whole song. I know it’s weird but I’m trying to say you did such a great job with the song!
