The thing about mustang, is that he is present, he has enough knoledge to actually pull a human transmutation, and they have the proper leverage to force his hand in a short time span, he was basically the most practical sacrifice in a rush.

If you didn't binge it then you have more control than I had because every time I've watched this after the first time I've got to this arc and just binged the hell out of the ending because it's some of the best entertainment in history, I LOVE this.

Candidates for sacrifice must be pretty hard to get since Al (one of the best alchemists in the series) was only qualified to be a sacrifice because Ed brought his soul back.

Imagine seeing Ling's charge from the sidelines. Clearing that massive hallway faster than Bradley did, and the whole goddamn thing basically exploded. If we hadn't seen him fighting I'd have assumed _vegeta_ walked in there.

I think the sacrifice candidates were chosen based on their selflessness. All of the sacrifices wouldn’t run away if they had the chance to save the people they cared about. And I think the Dwarf in the Flask homunculus found those people to be the easiest to manipulate. Remember how easy it was to make Mustang and Edward cooperate just by splitting Mustang’s team and threatening Winry?

Exactly. People who’ve performed human transmutation and payed the toll can’t be limited to only 4 people in an alchemical power full of millions. But those who are predictable enough to remain in that country no matter how dire things get are in short supply.

"Just snap!" He can't, they are in a small room. He would risk burning his comrades. Ya know, had the Candidates not been all in Central at that Day, would that Transportation still have worked? Becouse that circle specificly was only in the City. The Crosseyed Doctor said the others were simpletons for falling as something as little as Immortality as a Bait. Which makes me wonder, what was he in for? Kimblee said he was allowed to run free under the Homunculi protection, so he had a reason to help them.

Lolol, it’s not that. I really thought Bradley was a character who was going to turn good in the end. I know I’m not the only one who thought that. But he mentioned his wife being the only thing he choose so I had hope.

@@Animelon Don't worry I was just making a joke. And yeah, it's easy to look back and see that he never really changes but I also think Arakawa put all those hints in to leave open the possibility of doing something different with Wrath later on that just never panned out. In the end all the sin die in ways related to their sins (Lust by a man she couldn't seduce, Envy by being exposed for his own jealousy, Wrath dying at the mercy of those he's hurt) and I think another route could have been Wrath dying in some way to protect his wife or something. That's just not the direction she went with the story in the end and I'm fine with that. All in all, this is a lot of analysis when i was just making a joke about how you talk about Wrath like the boyfriend you have to explain that you can fix to all your friends lol

bradley could have ended the entire main cast with ease if they ever met up to fight.

Finally someone points out how greed could've just pulled the knife off of himself. I've only seen two other reactions of episode 57 but it's obvious the knife was a lazy way to separate greed and fu

I always thought it wasn't that it kept him down really, all it did was slow him down for a second or two. It stopped him from getting up on the first attempt, and that is just enough time for Bradley to finish off Fu, or so he thought. Even if you are capable of lifting something, if you underestimate the weight it can make you stumble. Greed wasn't expecting the added difficulty of standing up when his coat is pinned to the ground, so he wasn't exerting that extra umph needed to tear his coat free. Bradley is fast and strong enough to take advantage of that extra second or two.

@@JDP5127 it was definitely longer than 2 sec. A better explanation would've been that greed wasn't in a rush to help fu but even then greed would've known to help since 2vs1 they still struggled, but 2vs1 is better than letting fu 1vs1
