Yes, that is the old "Hotel Green" in Pasadena, California. I thought it was. My great grandfather used to sit in the park there, and play his zither for a few hours each day during & after the second w.w., for a few bits of change to help feed us. I remember him to this day, and what a surprise to see that great hotel once again. Thanks to all for bringing a bit of sunshine into my life. Wow, full movie? Thank you! Full Moon has always been one of my favorite horror production companies. Back in the day, hitting up the video store, our town had a few independent places and a chain, I always preferred 2 of the smaller places. One was run by a weird old dude who knew EVERYTHING horror. He was an absolute fanatic. He knew foreign stuff, lowest of low budget, had connections in American and Canadian horror production companies, had wild rumors and insights on upcoming projects and even did early screenings for his favorite customers (shhh, he even did it sometimes when he had been explicitly told not to haha) the Full Moon logo was something I constantly looked for. Yes, there were a couple of disappointments renting that way for sure BUT, I have sooo many good memories with friends, and family, staying up late and watching Puppet Master, Trancers, Demonic Toys, Subspecies, Prehysteria,and I can't even remember how many more.

This is the last and the best Puppet Masters movie of all time or since the original 5 films. The sequels just looked so bad with no effort and this should have been the one and only. What I like about this movie is that it serves as a direct sequel to the first 5 minutes of first movie showing the aftermath of Toulons suicide and the war between The Puppets and The Nazis My ideal Puppet Masters Prequel Trilogy is 1. Retro Puppet Master- 1999 2. Puppet Master III: Toulon's Revenge- 1991 3. Puppet Master Axis of Evil 2010 I call this the Toulon Trilogy

I still think this was the best of the trilogy, despite not being top notch itself. Blade, Pinhead and Ninja kicked ass, but there wasn't enough of them. The pro-America talk was so obnoxious though, that you almost rooted for the Japanese woman and the Nazis. Luckily the puppets were there to remind us that this is a good vs. Evil battle and not a shades of gray one. Looking back on the Axis trilogy, it really led to nothing. By the end of the third movie, I was expecting a lead up to the original film where Neil Gallagher finds and manipulate the Puppets to do his bidding. Never got it, making the Axis trilogy feel like a low stakes story. Nothing will ever touch Puppet Master 1-5, and even the supposed "non-canon" Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys. Yeah, it was laughably bad, but the fact remains that in it's Halloween 3 inspired story, the Puppets saved the world from a Hell takeover. That's as far as you can go with these characters.

Never heard anyone discuss it, but Dr. WHO fans will get a kick out of the easter egg in the end credits. 1:20:17 'Lethbridge-Stewart' is a name of a Dr. WHO character and Tom Baker is the name of an actor who played one of the doctors. Who ever did the credits added those names as a joke. Bahrooz Araz is also listed and that's a character from the show 24.

I remember watching the 1st 5 PMs on VHS plus the retro. Now after all these years, I guess I'll see if this next group in the 2000s is as good.🤔 Well I did finally watch the rest. Some were the same which is good and some weren't. The ones that weren't seem to lack in quality and some just threw in more gore just for sake of it and some threw in T&A for ne reasons except to bring in some other watchers. It really didn't add to the story. If anything it took away from it. The originals were better overall. As the saying goes if it's not broken don't try and fix it. I did like that on the original and some newer ones the swearing was kept at a very minimum if at all which made dialog better and more younger viewer friendly. To me one of the worst ones was the Axis: Termination.

I still have my theory in regards to Puppet Master the littlest Reich and how it connects to the original series because the man who claim to be Andre Toulon was really a Nazi scientist wanted for war crimes escape to the United States under the identity of somebody that was claimed to be dead for years but in truth the real Andre still lives his family knows that they were too late to stop this imposter during the incident that occurred in Postville but I believe the only way to stop this imposter is to use the original puppets against him but it gets worse The Imposter stole the Elixir that Andre used to give his puppets life and he's using it to heal himself kind of like The Mummy he kills people at assimilates their organs and fluids to regenerate and no longer be the undead but a plague upon this Earth and that is what this imposter is playing to do to regenerate and activate his puppets with an amethyst Crystal much like the ones that were in his mausoleum. My reason for this is because I spoke to Barbara Crampton in Concord the other day and I remembered when I told her the lines she did in the movie she said that Andre was claimed by a distant relative and laid to rest in that mausoleum what if that distant relative is trying to do something about killing this imposter but it had to be when the time was right my theory is that the only way to stop this imposter is to use his power against him in other words the amethyst crystals can not only give him immortality but can also kill him but in order to do that they have to draw him away from it but the weirdest thing is the imposters entire Anatomy is amethyst crystals

The nazi (Ben) had the uniform on, on the sleeve was an armband, please correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t the nazi logo (swaztika .. sorry for spelling) the wrong way around … in reverse.
