Earning a Vertical Mile at Echo Lake and up Mt Lapworth on Trails near Squamish British Columbia

Although it is an extra challenge to access the trail, this area is worth the effort. The terrain is spectacular and dramatic. It is wild how fast the water plummets down into the Squamish River over such a short and steep course. And the mountains around Echo Lake are amazing.
