I hate it that some fans are calling us 'Brighton' for doing this, Chelsea (and others) also use a scatter-gun approach buying in and loaning out young players. This is the future for all clubs in the EPL. As the young man says, we buy potential and put effort into them; if they make it into the first team, great. If they become superstars, fantastic; if they aren't good enough for United's first team, sell them on for a profit. THIS model will save/make United a fortune going forward. I'd like to see more players being farmed out to Nice or Lausanne-Sport, SJR's Swiss team to get minutes instead of lower league UK teams, tbh In fact i'd like to see more interaction between Nice and United. I think they've got a 'keeper, Marcin Bulkin, that could be our No.1.

As much as I dislike watching a Hale Ender leave Arsenal, I still believe had Kiwior left in the summer Heaven would have got a good run of games in the squad like Lewis-Skelly and Nwaneri and then who knows? At least the way Ineos and ManU are moving is smart unlike the Clearlake clowns in South West London throwing billions on unknown academy players that might not succeed at the top level. Heaven's passing ability and movements are different level and that will scream on your screens. . He has some kind of composure on the ball like Saliba but he needs to learn and improve to defend in both quadrant of defence (his right side and right foot) Good luck to him (not to ManU 😡)

This is how our recruitment should have always been and should always be. All these people moaning in the comments are idiots. 1 or 2 'big' signings of more established players and a few promising young players a year. Worst case scenario we sell the young players on for a profit, best case we end up with a top player wirhout soending silly money on them.

Garnacho sale of £60million does not bring in £100million of transfer that's not how PSR/FFP works, every year £63million goes out of the club of interest payments service the debt which accounts towards PSR.

I hope you realize the term “Man U” is considered an insult and therefore never used by United supporters. Other than that, we need strengthening all over and Ineos seem to want to prioritize signing young players with high potential. Very few will actually make it but if one or two do, it’ll still be worthwhile.
@paulb1951Күн бұрын
Fans losing their heads over the club selling young players. Let’s not forget we didn’t sell Adnan when we received a big offer, PSG we’re desperate to buy Marcus and would have paid quadruple of what he’s worth now after 2 years of u der performance. Club needs to be smart, individual players are all replaceable and the fans will won’t be complaining about ticket prices if the club is run better.
@JamesRichardJohnson13 сағат бұрын
Just work out somethink uk growth has grow 0.8 to 1.7% this, if PSR was voted out English and Scottish football ever club would be better off, as protection are to increase further per year, so each club would protential in turn over more money and earn more fans in the process. Making opportunities to invest in stadium, players and local business.

Not related to Heaven, but has anyone talked about how our injury rate has just fallen off a cliff since Ten Hag left? I can only think of Mount and Shaw as players who have become injured since then, has there been a change in how Amorim trains that is helping the players? I know he's talked a lot about the players not being able to train after playing, was Ten Hag doing something differently that was causing them to pick up so many muscle injuries?
