I remember being that age and loving baking too. I became the family baker. The next thing I got into was learning how to make homemade flour tortillas. And would make potato and egg tacos for breakfast. My mother is not a cook that did Mexican foods. She made American so good. So glad your letting each child find there own special things in life. I feel bad for your eldest due to weight that she really should avoid all this kind of baked goods. Not healthy for her. She need no carbs. Just like me.
