Those affordable homes will probably be in the new 15 minute cities so they can get as many (Guinea pigs) people that they can control every move you make. It will be so convenient and nice in the beginning then turn into a nightmare. The government will be able to turn off all your smart system devices including locking you inside for curfews and pandemics, lockdowns and climate control lockdowns, etc.

Boxabl is located in Las Vegas. The home is $60,000 and us 361 sq ft. Includes a 2 burner range, small refrigerator, microwave and HVAC Transport, setup, utility, connections and foundation are extra. That equates to around $180 or more per square foot. I fail to see the benefit

$ 10.000 is an unrealistic price. Just the solar panels, power walls, inverter, car charger and other electrical fixings would probably amount to that sum. I believe $25.000 would be closer to reality.

As a former Tesla owner, If it's from Elon Musk then it's a $10k home but it's gonna be another $10k for indoor walls and another $10k for painted walls, and another $20k for cabinets, but those will come 6 months to 6 years later. If there's one thing he's good at it's giving big promises early on to get people interested.

Because everybody could afford one and become a homeowner. Talk to your insurance agent and you will see that what you pay for a house with all the taxes added in and what it can be replaced for if damaged is about 100,000.00 less depending on what you paid for the house. When property values went up we thought we might need more coverage but what they told us is what I mentioned above. A house like this for young people or the elderly people is affordable and they can become homeowners and the the government wouldn't like that because all their housing subsidies would go right out the window. This could also be put in as in-law quarters on your property. Plus it would be next to nothing compared to renting a apartment or house. Houses at this price could get people out of poverty, get people off the streets and make people have pride of owning something even if it is just a starter home that they can build equity in. But, then why would we need a over bloated Federal government for? The Federal government doesn't want you to succeed. I think this is the answer to many issues married couples starting out face, people who cannot afford to rent a house or apartment or simply someone who wants to get out of their parents basement.

Utility hookup typically depends on how far the property is from available utilities/are utilities available or is that site going to need well & septic, etc, what kind of excavation is going to be necessary, is drainage good or is the property in flood plain…. Lots of variables can jump up & bite, but hopefully they won’t.
