I'll never understand how people say they hate chorus or got tired of it; it makes everything beautiful even used lightly (whether on clenani distortion) and it's very hard to find a bad sounding chorus unit or even a bad setting. These people avoid chorus and then spent the rest of their lives searching for "a sweetener" of some kind: a comp, a boutique transparent boost with just one knob, a digital "tape" saturationnir even a flanger in chorus mode because they can't admit they only need a regular chorus 😂😂😂😂

Love your videos! Your phrasing and commend are amazing. Also love this chorus it reminds me of Robert Plant's early solo records. Not sure if anyone else mentioned this, but Walking on the Moon is done with a chorus. Andy Summers used an old Electric Mistress by EHX on many of those old tracks. The early EHX flangers had a very glassy tone compared to the MXR type, which is more of a jet flange.

This sounds so good. A guy made Rocktron Intellifex preset for this sound and gotta say it's pretty good for a makeshift "can't afford or find one of these" tone. Also found Roland SDE-2000, the more primitive version of that legendary SDE-3000, and gotta say that one has some really weird modulation available. Far from this, but very moody.

Great Video, as allways. But you have to listen to christian larsens tone. He is a master of the 80s tones. These huge sounds are part of his "personality". Personally I am not so convinced about this clean sound demo. The "originals" who stand fot these special clean sounds are Mike Landau, Dan Huff, Michael Thompson. Did I forgot someone? A milestone is also Allan Holdsworth chorus sound with 8 modulation delays. A faithful recreation of the legendary dytronics cs5 is not only the terc but also the shiva wave.

I think he means that you didn't reproduce the whole chain of FX going with that--SPX90 detune, delays, reverb, etc.... Personally, I'm glad to finally see a demo that *didn't* have all that stuff added to it! This is the first demo I've seen of the TERC with nothing else, so it's nice to finally hear what the thing really sounds like :) In case nobody else brought it up here, Andy Summers *did* use the TSC back in the day! I'm not sure if he got to use it with the Police, but he was definitely using it by the late 80s with his monster Bradshaw rack. There's a video on YT where he gives a rundown of the whole thing. Thanks for the demo!
