Good rule of thumb Gavin: lights on the east coast go based off the speed limit. So a yellow light in a 35 is 3.5 seconds/ 45 is 4.5 seconds etc

traffic lights turn yellow depending on the speed limit of the road, for example. 35mph zone (3.5), 45mph zone (4.5). hope this helps and love the vids :)
