In my youth, i had a suzuki s1, with 90 cc modified sylinder, 28 mm mikuni carburator, with 125 cc exhaust pipe and 125 cc ignition system. What an fantastic moped. it was with a 4 speed gear box, and it picked up nose to third gear and at third, it goes over 100kph..... i miss my youth.... and that suszuki.... and my dog from that period. Shit, now im in tears. An old fuck, typing in youtube.

I don’t know about cutting the air shroud. I would think it could affect the cooling in a negative way as it isn’t cooled by the air you get from driving it gets cooled by the motors rotor. But really don’t know love the videos still🔥
@urban_riders10 ай бұрын
Yes, that’s correct. The cylinder is cooled by the motor. It is cooled by the fan on the exhaust side which pushes air across the cylinder head. We simply open up the other side to allow the air to run across the head easily. The bottom cooling fins get block by the plastic,especially when it’s touching. So removing that allows all the cooling fins to “exhaust” the air properly. I hope this makes sense! We should make a more in-depth video explaining this in the future 👌🏼

Great result 👍 if possible, try get the 125cc Piaggio motor with the infamous 172 kit. Torque galore AC/LC doesn’t matter. Piaggio even fitted a great pipe as standard 👌 respect to your build, keep an eye on temps with that motor

🧐 🖐, ma come hai fatto a montare questo kit se la testa originale e di 52mm compreso cilindro ( / ) e malossi e un 124cc 57.5 mm ? Va su con la testa originale ?
@adrianvandermerwe2 ай бұрын
Great question! Malossi have taken this into account. The cylinder height is so that the flat edge of the head becomes part of the squish area, with a 1.1mm minimum squish.
@SoloAmatori2t-02 ай бұрын
@@adrianvandermerwe ok thanks for the very kind information, but did you keep the original head?
@adrianvandermerwe2 ай бұрын
@@SoloAmatori2t-0 Yes we kept the original head. 99% of the builds are using the original head. The 1% are using a modified standard head where they have been welded up and machined to a custom profile and volume.

@@adrianvandermerwe ok I imagined, it seems strange to me, only I have never mounted a Malossi because I also own a rare 100cc Aerox 2t model for this, I ask if the original 52 also adapted to the 56 Malossi piston hehe, I see that Airsal produces kits complete GT, for me it seems more suitable given my experience you know I don't know how long the Malossi holds up, it's a shame they didn't also make the head and it was a shame on Malossi's part, not to make a complete GT, thank you very kindly have a good Sunday

@@mitchellanddonnabrooke2177 Unfortunately the Sym's we get in South Africa are very limited with mods. Other 4 strokes that do have mods are your Yamaha, Honda and some Kymco's. Bonjour. Les videos sont géniale! Mais du coup il est possible de rouler avec la pompe a huile d'origine Yamaha avec toutes ces modifications? Sinon, quelles modification serait à faire? Je me monte exactement le même moteur que vous en France Merci
@urban_ridersАй бұрын
You can run the Autolube system with all the mods. But to get the best performance and fuel ratio, pre-mix would be a better option. More importantly, you need to run a good synthetic 2T oil like Malossi 7.1, Yamalube, Motul 7100 etc.
