Fully restored Bechstein V 1896 + regulation of damper stop rail

We sell annually about ten fully restored Bechstein model V grands from about 1885 to 1915. they are consistently fine pianos and restore well.
In doing the final checks on this one I found that the touch was impeded by the bounce of the damper back on the key, and as this is quite a commonly found issue I decided to show it's regulation here. If you're a technician then sorry if this is obvious to you, but I hope it's of some help to someone. Marcus

Can the damper pedal being adjusted roughly 5mm above the strings affect the touch weight of the keys? In addition to this what if the damper comes up about 3mm above the strings when only playing the key?

Hello, I hope you don't mind me asking on this video but I couldn't find any other videos related to my question. I am restoring an upright piano and the hammers, although in good condition are a little dirty. I was just wondering if you have any recommendations on how best to clean them to get them looking respectable again? I don't want to adversely affect the tone of the piano!
