Absolutely, it was super informative and definitely the selling point for me along with researching the bikes and riding one ( not a J ) on a New Zealand rail trail, I was after cruiser style step through with rear suspension for rail trails that was reliable and with a relaxed style of riding that could go off road when needed, this bike has it all :) Awesome video and I thoroughly enjoy your site.@

Hello from France and thank you for your great videos! As Greg mentioned it in this video you're the greatest voice of Moustache in GB and always with a great sense of humor! I have 2 questions: is there a huge difference between the Xroad FS (that I own) and the brand new J? I noticed that the Moustache team chose the Performance line motor instead of the CX: do you think this will be powerful enough especially for the J All that is quite heavy? Next time I go to London I promise I will add Fully Charged to my wishing list! :)) See you.

Thanks for the nice comment! The Performance motor has a seriously smooth power delivery and is much quieter than CX, being that it is a smart system bike, it now has 75 NM is only around 10% difference in power. (CX=85). The bike is a more chilled out riding position but we think it is nicer to ride, but if you were planning to ride aggressive mountain bike style the geometry of the Xroad FS might still be preferred as its closer to the mountain bike feel! Hope that helps, and would be pleased to welcome you to FC for a ride.

Lovely looking bike and sure it's excellent to ride. But when Ben said that other bike manufacturers look at Moustache and follow, in this case I'd argue that Moustache looked at the Riese-Muller Homage and followed them. Nothing wrong with "tipping your cap" towards the competition and improving where you can. Look forward to a test ride. Also nice that so many components are made in France.

yes i would agree with this, step through full suss was benchmarked by rm and now moustache are in the lead with step through full suss cast frame, and it’s a lot prettier. although rm still have the rohloff ace card! i was originally referring to the likes of cube copying moustache xroad with their katmandu.

Has anyone figured out how you are supposed to lock this bike up in a way not defeated by a set of hex keys?

Yes 100% perfect lock for this bike is the new Abus Super Granite Extreeme which fits snug round the d lock and can also help secure the battery
