For those wondering why K-cars are so popular in Japan: K-car has a lot of financial benefits. Annual tax is almost 3 times cheaper than that of a car with 1000cc. Insurance cost is cheaper, highway toll is cheaper, and of course, fuel cost is cheaper since they're small. As a result, among top 10 cars which sold well in 2017 Q1+Q2 in Japan, 5 of them were K-car. Actually, every one in 3 cars sold in Japan in 2016 was K-car. I like how much effort car manufacturers make to put everything necessary into that small cabin.

Yeh I’m seeing them in a random order, over a few days. it’s hard to tell from KZbin which I’ve watched. Fully charged can you name each episode 1/5, 2/5, 3/5, 4/5, 5/5 in the future so we can keep track of them? KZbin haven’t made it easy to binge (for me at least)

Jonny, you are the best host. You captured the best and most interesting of Japanese culture in this context while enjoying the humor in it - the creativity and ingenuity, all wrapped up in a very cute presentation, while revealing some of the thoughtful and serious intentions of the manufacturers, such as making the most of limited space, and providing solutions specifically for the elderly. Personally I find these aspects of Japan delightful. Thanks for making it informative, entertaining, and a downright joyful sharing of experience.

Well I’ve binge watched all five episodes and you’ve made my Sat morning! Love the idea of you sending a number of videos out at the same time for things like this where they are closely related to each other. Keep the other videos coming as they currently do so there’s something to look forward to. Great camera work and editing...and coverage. Going to Tokyo for two weeks on holiday in May. The culture and technology is exciting. Love those little delivery vans.

Next time upload/release all these videos on separate days or at least wait some time in between each of the videos. If I hadn't taken a glimpse on your channel I wouldn't have noticed that you uploaded more videos besides Part 1. I really love these little K-cars! I wish they were sold here. They seem so practical and they look cute :D And before I forget it. Even though fullycharged is all about electric cars and renewables and stuff, I really like that you also looked at some special non-ev cars, since there is so much more to see on such a big event! Why not take the chance? :D Btw. I love Jonny's shoes :D

Hey Jonny - I totally agree with what you say about the kei-car micro vans versus an SUV - they are little marvels of smart packaging, the keis - I would love to see more of those and less of bulky, inefficiently enginneered SUVs over here in Europe as well. If only Japan was the trend-setter in cars, not the US....

kzbin.infovideos They're all there The problem is many people rely on their subscription boxes to give them a playlist, I managed to watch all 5 using the "what's next" algorithm (if slightly out of order). The reality is anybody that hasn't seen all 5 hasn't tried to watch them. Though watching the news update videos they do is one of the least enjoyable types of video on the channel so it's likely many people skipped it and weren't aware of the 5 episode binge drop.

Don’t have a problem with seeing all 5 new shows, if your default window doesn’t show ‘em, click on the subscription front page for Fully Charged, click on the logo, then click the settings drop down and “show newest” BTW, another brilliant Johnny Show, love your commentary on the Daihatsu show! The Century manages to be more vulgar and uglier than the current Rollers, some acheivement!

I am fully charged and aware that Toyota's "advanced urban mobility" can apply to many many cities with crazy traffic here in the States. Be bold and try these here...even tho you gave up too early with the Scion xb , Honda Element....but now the Kia Soul was the underdog..and now look it is a top selling box car that made it by enduring the small utility and easy parking and traffic mobility of the Soul, which I have never heard of breaking down or having any problems. GO SOUL!!!

Great video, some really brilliant concept cars there. Think electric will take over quicker than we think. Autonomous vehicles I don't like though, I totally hate the idea of them, never being in control. Think I'd rather walk or cycle/motorcycle to be honest as I'm in control then.
