Whoever disparaged Fulton after Inoue fight definitely never saw this fight, or they never even watched any of Fulton's fights. Fulton is a really good fighter and it takes a special ATG boxer like Inoue to make Fulton look average. Hopefully Fulton recovers himself back after the fight and utterly manhandles the 122 lbs division (outside of Inoue - who will be moving up anyway). And yes, I think Fulton is way better than Tapales, though Tapales always have the puncher's luck.

We need this Fulton back... Tapales had confidence because of his power. Inoue respected Tapales' power and we saw that. Fulton lack this kind of confidence so Inoue gained enough til that stoppage... People forgot that Fulton fought undefeated champions consistently, then unfied the belts in a single year beating champions in their own game. I am a Filipino and I hope Fulton beat the shi out of Johnriel Casimero as his tune up fight.

Only if you view the fight from one perspective. If you have the time, you should slow this fight up and focus on Fulton only. His jab is nothing more than a slap in most instances, with low accuracy other than being a disruptive to Roman's offence. Roman did a great job of parring the jab, Fulton's offensive setups, timing and counters were atrocious through the first 3 rounds. It appeared to me that Fulton's plan was to hit an evade. Anytime he sensed Roman coming in he backed out. I watched until the end of the 7th round. Fulton had some very good individual punches, but it was all the same. Roman managed to win the 7th round with a little more aggression and intent. He slips Fulton's jab and hits him in the gut with his best body power punch up to that point and you can see the immediate effect. There were a few others in the earlier rounds. Fulton's boxing in my opinion is mediocre. His slugger ability is top notch, this seems to be where he excels, Leo and Figueroa. Inoue will repeat everything Danny Roman did to the body and more. Body shots are Fulton's weakness and one of Inoue's many specialties. All 3 of Fulton's last victories saw him hurt to the body. Pual Butler circled the ring until Inoue caught him to the body in the 11th.

That’s a tough comparison lol. For one Benevidez is bigger and stronger than plant is. They fight at the same weight, Fulton is bigger and actually the physically stronger man. For two, plant literally would clinch and just hug Benevidez, no work inside. But he was able to win the first 5 rounds doing that. Fulton inside and clinch is WAYYYY more advanced than Plants was. He has armlocks, weight shifting, and smothering techniques. I have Fulton by decision.

Compare this to the Figueroa fight, it’s night and day. This was pure dominance for 12 rounds. The traps set, switch hit combo when he turned southpaw to get out of the corner, keeping the jab pumping to find range, probing. It was phenomenal. This was against the number 3 ranked super bantam and supposed to be the best opponent Fulton fought. Edit: Inoue CAN win this, but I just think Fulton’s movement and ability will be to much. I have Fulton by 8-4

Inoue aint no flat footed plodder like roman and he also hits harder than brandon did at 122, inoue's limitations won't show up at 122 and probably not even at 126, it will take 130 or 135 for his power to fade or not translate as much. Inoue will target the body all night on a moving Fulton. And inoue is very skilled, known for his god tier timing on explosive counters and can also fight on the backfoot Fulton can win this but he has to be switched on 100%... I don't know man tough one to call

One thing ---- he prefers head shots, he hits the body but sparsely. Khegai and Roman showed you can pick off his jabs they are largely flicked not piercing shots. And his low guard means the looping right can land but he prefers to catch it. Round 12 was one of the most competitive rounds for Roman, it won't be good for Inoue.
