With the Saitama animation inspired off the mosquito scene after he did the uppercut, my theory is that they're adding uppercut finishers similar to how they added downslam finishers. We didn't see him pull up an emote wheel or anything, so we know it isn't an emote; and he could have had Finishers Only on which would have then triggered an uppercut finisher.
