Most people don't know this but she made it from humble beginnings she was just a normal hard working middle class woman that worked her butt off to reach her dreams God bless her.

Yeah but sometimes dreams lead ro death and destruction if you're not cautious of your surroundings. 😢

Yeah she was spotted at the beach with her friends from some sort of producer or model agency and she went from being a waitress in a coffee shop to a star she just had something different about her a natural glow ive read a few books about her when i was a teenager and it was so sad how she was treated " If you no you no " I hope her memory continues to live on like it has so far ❤

@@andreahayes8489WRONG! She was discovered by a photographer working at an airplane production factory in Van Nuys during World War 2. That lead to modeling and bit parts in movies and she grew from there to bigger films. I can't believe people spread lies and act like their true.

Her dresses had no elasticity or split in the back to allow her to strect her legs further. Her walk is a consequence of of the design made for modesty.

Exactly, the dresses were made for that walk, the actress in her just exaggerated it 😍

Sorry, But, this is a classic model's walk. One foot in front of the other. Which creates the natural swish of the side to side sway of your hips. Try it sometimes. Feels incredibly feminine and sexy👍👍👍😁😁😁😊😊😊

Marilyn and Dorothy were good friends. They actually shared each others' experiences in Hollywood. People trying to make it into something other than that. SMH!

Growing up my mom called her "curvy" 😂 So I was constantly trying to lose my athletic bubble butt! Now my butt is 50. It looks juuuust about as flat as hers. The cycle of life. 😅

Ela tem seu jeitinho único de balançar os ombros com gracejo. Uma coisa que sempre corrigem nos Catwalk: Hold your shoulders. Claro que isso foi ideia de um homem. Nossos ombros gracejam como nossos quadris.

What a weird statement when women were expected to behave a certain way during those times. From fashion, hair, mannerism and so on, diversity of any kind was not encouraged, you’ll find many women walk just like that. Especially in Hollywood. Were they all inspired by Dorothy? Let’s be serious now...
