It unsticks from the surface really well. I saw some of the boys on Xjet having huge problems getting flying boats to unstick so whoever designed the floats on the KFPLAN knew their fluid dynamics.

Thought that crash into the light post would of ended the flight review, nice to know it can take some beatings. The water test was awesome, landed so nice on the water. Looks like a boat, flies like a boat!!!! lol

What happens when it flips over? Are you able to flip it back up or are you stuck in the middle of the lake?

Actually tried this and the props still spin so you can kinda steer it on the water but the controls are reversed since it's upside down.

I gotta admit that I was surprised it flew as well as it does. Pretty good flight time. It seems to work better taking off and landing on water. 🤓
